If you had to pick one at safety, who you got!? Reid was a beast and made plays, but Adams is all over the field! Who would you rather have at safety?

They play 2 different safety positions. It's apples & oranges.

Adams is like a combo of Reid and Mathieu. (Strickly speaking about style, not trying to say one is as good or better than any other).
But hes got that bone crushing tackle like Reid did, but also the smaller stature and quickness near the line of scrimmage and to the sidelines like Mathieu did.

Reid, but I will say Adams has done much better lately in tasking care of his areas and not getting caught out of position.

Adams from a personality/team leader stand point has the edge.

Reid has the edge from a laying the wood aspect and big play aspect.

This will always be one of the top plays a player has ever made in a tigers uniform imho...

and these were just crazy

I'll take Reid's coverage with Jamal's pursuit and tackling. I also think Adams is a passionate leader so I'll take that attribute from him too.

6'1 211 and 6'1 213

Exact same size brother

I think both are very similar in the way they play both extremely physical and play the role of QB on the D side. Also play nasty against the run which translates extremely well into the NFL which is why Reid was a 1st rounder and Adams will be too.

I think k Adams will be the lynchpin against bama. Being as hurts throws most passes under 6 yards and his scrambling ability Adams will be key close to the line of scrimmage.

I noticed on several big runs again Tennessee the volunteers had the right defense called but their big arse slow linebacker could not get into the hole in time. Beckwith if fast as hell.

I think the outcome lies with Adams and beckwith. (I know..big surprise there)

Just imagine them in the same defensive backfield for a second. If this ever comes together in the NFL

Laron Landry. He led the 2nd greatest lsu defense of all time in tackles as a true freshman. In college he had no flaws. It wasnt untill he bulked up to lb size in the nfl that he started struggling in coverage.
