When I was a student, we rarely blew anyone out so we stayed the entire time for most games. As far as I'm concerned, I hope the student section clears out early every game (because we're rolling).

One of the few times leaving early has really bothered me was the Arkansas game last year. LSU won the Golden Boot, the SEC West, and had their first 12-0 season in history. No one should leave on such a monumental occasion, IMO.

It's this kind of mindset that makes me hate the direction the LSU Student Section is headed. The sheer amount of entitlement/self-importance/"I'm an adult now so I can do whatever I want" attitudes that makes the students look like a bunch of immature pricks. Yes, you pay tuition. Big fricking deal. Season ticket holders pay ticket prices and TAF fees that combined range in the thousands as well. And Alumni pay for essentially everything football related (Indoor facility, practice fields, uniforms, etc). The student athletes would play even if they took away a portion of the student tickets and opened up a new season ticket section. You're not near as important as you like to think.
That being said, it's an entire stadium issue, not a student issue. The past two weeks, the entire stadium looked pathetic in the mid 3rd/4th quarter. Nothing can really be done about that. If people don't want to sit around and watch LSU destroy some crap team, they won't.
