It's time to take back student section tickets

At halftime over 50% were gone. From where I was sitting the student section and the yellow seats closest to their section are always the worst. Late 2nd quarter folks were rolling out. There are slot of upperdeck ticket holders who would love that upgrade.

This is a university. Without the students there is no university, without the students there is no football. If they want to leave early against teams that we are dominating then so be it. They will be there and yell a lot louder than the people who would take their tickets.

So apparantly now the only good fans are the upperdeck fans?
I've seen 1015 threads bitching about what sections left early and from what I gather it is the student section and any lower section that requires more than the minimum TAF contribution that are all bad fans?
Just making sure. I'm trying to make my list.

Maybe they had some studying to do?

Man, you had a reasonable point and totally blew it by using an grossly exaggerated number.

And do what? Sell them to older people who are going to leave at halftime?

I think we should raise ticket prices to get more poor people out of the stadium.

It was a blowout and they probably wanted to go drink some more. Nothing really new here.

Simple solution: Lock the gates until 0:00 shows on the clock.

Or only have one single gate open with a turnstile and ID scan point so that people who may want to beat traffic have to wait in a long arse line

Just my opinion. The student section and the yellow seats next to them always are empty first. It's pathetic how sad the best atmosphere in college football has gotten. We can blame the corporations for buying up most of the tics and pricing out the old school fans but one of our biggest problems is the student section, which is the cheapest tickets.

Jesus man it's fricking North Texas and Washington. The same thing will happen against Idaho and Towson don't get your panties in a wad. Whenever there's a big game or a game that's actually a contest the students will stay the whole time and be louder than the rest of the stadium

so your solution is to take away tickets from students to sell them to season ticket holders who will leave at halftime?

I also sit close to the student section this is what I got out of the Washington game(BTW I'm a student that doesn't sit in the student section). Half the Greeks didn't show up because what they did the night before so that leaves you with the student section at about 80-78% not even there. Then you have the pledges who stayed all game ad the incoming frosh who stayed the whole game. I left at the mid fourth an it was maybe at about 58-65% still there.
So your wrong about the 50% don't be an a-hole who curses them when we blow teams out but then praises them after big home games and let's them set the tone.
Where do you get all your dances? Added phrased chants? Or even the heart an soul of the noise. To spite them for not showing up for two out of conference games is wrong and just plain stupid. Tell me how you feel after SC.

I can't wait for the Bama game when that same section at the top of the student section is empty. People will lose their shite.

Perfect idea, we should also see about getting rid of classes. Then we wouldn't have to carry the expense of faculty salaries.
Geez!
Geez!

I'm not using two games of data. It doesn't mean I'm right it's just what I see
