Depends if support at the top starts to wane. When the money starts to decline, a move will be made.

I would be willing to bet that over the last two years, net donations are down (not counting large one time donations like Webster or Moran -- typically these types of people give regardless).

Although I guess I could check the books to verify. I might do that tonight.

Gave up my tickets after 2007.
Miles is Cholly Mac. Except he has beaten Bama 3 times.
Alas, I was at the games last night.

you’re killing me Smalls cause you’re dead on balls,

Let’s face it, LSU is now firmly ensconced as an “also ran” team. The second tier spot LSU has had on the SEC West has now given way to A&M, Auburn, and Ole Miss. LSU now will fight for the 3rd or 4th spot this year and may be the pattern until something changes. Miles and LSU have NO competition for in-state recruits, yet we have to fight Bama for the ones we do get?

BS. The big money donors had the damn $$$$$$$$$$ ready to buy his arse out after 2009! They gave him one more year and voila! he got lucky.

bama fired shula one year after a ten win season.

So one 10 win season is impressive now? Time to build a Miles statue then.

And Shula preceded that year with 4-9 and 6-6 seasons, and followed it up with 6-6. Really had Bama in the title hunt year in, year out.....

Many of our fellow La. citizens dislike what you call "exceptionalism", and IMHO, the evidence supporting this conclusion extends way past LSU football.

Give SEC teams credit. This is ONE tough league to win in. This past weekend is a prime example. 4 top teams were beaten by another SEC team. Wake up, stop crying and be glad you have a 10-2 team - with no sanctions.

Suggesting the BCS championship is less worthy because we backed into the game is inapproiate.

The fact is that Miles won't alter his ideas about football. At times that can be troubling. But its the reality.

The problem (regardless of the youth of the players), seems to be sideline and clock management. We waste plenty of time getting the proper players and giving the play to the qb, etc. I haven't timed it but I would be willing that we waste so much time that in equals to about 5 or so plays we don't get a chance to run.

I have experience coaching college athletics as an assistant. For the kind of money our staff makes; the standard they should be held to is high. Right now, the staff isn't living up to or earning their check. They might work around the clock like Joe Gibbs (sleeping in office) uses to do for all I know, but there seems to be a disconnect on game day especialaly when things get tight. You can't pay money and tolerate this sort of thing. I am not saying firing, but someone needs to make him aware that the standards are higher than what is being achieved. Is this harsh, sure it so....but things become harsh when we pay that kind of money.
