they played loose and their experience showed.

But how many hit and runs did they execute?

This is where I think the fine line is. LSU helped move over just as many CC base runners as CC did with mental errors

Sorry responded to the wrong person. Just pissed off man. It's frustrating enough to go down like this at home, but when I see people making excuses for this shite it makes me even madder. Sorry for responding to you. I'm getting off of here for tonight

CCU was the better team yesterday and LSU imploded today.

Well again I will say Paul should be fired. To me he should have been gone after 2014. So now in 10 season he won a national title and outside of that won 2 games in Omaha. I don't expect the 90's but that is unacceptable. If usce can do it so can we

You are an idiot.

You probably would have shite canned John Wooden before he won several in a row...

I suppose that's my personal opinion. No promises on a "what if' third game, but based on what I believe is in their bullpen we would have had a very good opportunity to right the weekend in the event.

I'm not implying they CPM should or could be fired with his flawed, but still solid record here. But do you really see him suddenly blossoming into John Wooden, or Skip 2.0? I sure as hell don't. He is what he is, and what he is hasn't produced much in the Supers and beyond lately.

Who was going to shut down their bats for us in game 3?

Good question. We failed to develop an effective 3rd starter yet again.

The fact that they are not better is what makes this infuriating. LSU did not capitilize on opportunities all weekend.

They are better. We were an average team that had a great run. They were better at most aspects of the game.

They were better than we were 2 nights in a row. Fact. I'm going to pull for them to win it all.

It was so clear who the better team was. Better coached too.

Yeah......there's a lot of that going around this time of year.......they may have not been "better" .....but.......they were better when they had to be.....

So 2 wins in Omaha in 9 seasons is okay? And one of those was a walk off against rice in 08.

Again I don't expect a championship every year but we should at least be playing for the title a few more times. I don't consider going two and out in Omaha playing for the title.

It's funny how the rant works...

A week ago PM was a lock for coach of the year, two games later you all want his head.

I will agree the team squandered opportunities, however that is baseball sometimes frustrating or not.

I think this is CPM's best coaching job to date, this team overachieved by far, a few things go their way last night and tonight and they could have won both games, even though they were out played.

I am proud the team got this far they came together and got hot at the end, they just couldn't maintain it for another two weeks unfortunatley. Congratulations LSU on a good season.
