It's baseball. How are you wizards proclaiming this CCU team better than us

Their pitching IMHO was clealry inferior based on coaching confidence. Sure, there batting lineup and speed on the bases were better. Their defense clearly inferior. They also absolutely pitched the same 2 relevant arms they had into the fricken dirt and everything went their way. We stranded runners and couldn't get timely hits. I saw a proud program run into a very bad two game stretch at the wrong time. Unfortunately, that sends you packing this time of year. If there were a third game I have confidence we could have pulled out the bats against their scrub bullpen. We over achieved this season. Sour ending, but thats how postseason baseball rolls.

The fact that they are not better is what makes this infuriating. LSU did not capitilize on opportunities all weekend.

I didn't want to face them for a reason.

lsu has holes in the lineup, limited starting pitching, terrible baserunning, no timely hitting, etc.
coastal was the better team this weekend, and is the better team overall. lsu had a great run to end the season, even if a lot of those wins to start the streak were against bad teams. however, we weren't some great team. the 2013 and 2015 teams would whoop this year's team in a best-of-7 series.
it is what it is. the better team won. lsu will be better and more experienced next year and have a great chance to get to omaha and win it all.

I wouldn't trade for a single guy on their staff, but they were light years better hitting the ball. That was the difference.

They got timely hits. They effectively moved their base runners. We didn't. Their pitchers delivered in clutch situations. Ours didn't. Better team. End of story.

Well again I will say Paul should be fired. To me he should have been gone after 2014. So now in 10 season he won a national title and outside of that won 2 games in Omaha. I don't expect the 90's but that is unacceptable. If usce can do it so can we.

Better coached. Better disciplined. Better prepared. We had Lange and Poche. Are they better then their pitchers ?? I would say so. Then what is your reasoning for getting swept????

He's got 5 national seeds in a row. He isn't going anywhere as long as he keeps doing that well in the regular season no matter how often that magic disappears in the ncaat
