Nah I think that his Freshman season was full of bums that gave up and decided that once a shot at repeating wasn't there they weren't going to play... Wouldn't happen on this team

With proper coaching both JJ and Lee have the ability to be better than McElroy.

That's an unfortunate standard to strive to obtain.

But JJ's sacks are?
I feel for Lee, but "his" greater ypg was helped by a healthy run game and a few monster O-linemen. Jefferson looked sharp with them vs GT.
JJ played with happy feet and int phobia last year. He is in need of ressurection of faith in the OL.

He had the opportunity to play past his shortcomings in the fourth quarter of Alabama and Tech last year. I feel bad for the kid and respect his stickability but I don't think he has what it takes in terms of mentality to compliment his arm talent.
So he got to come off the bench cold against the #1 D in the SEC and actually got one week of first team reps the next weeks and didn't light it up, so he must not be able to get the job done.

that actually thinks that Jarrett Lee would repeat the season he had as a RS Fresh.? I'm talking about legitimately throwing that many INT's and having them returned.

I think he has the potential to perform much better, but not as long as Crowton is the OC. And I'm not sure he'll ever get over the shell-shock of 2 years ago. I think he could be somewhat of a 2-minute drill specialist though, because his quick release.

Jefferson doesn't light it up, 30%cr vs Tech at Homecoming doesn't approach glow worm lumens.
