That was a major coaching blunder but the media won't mention it.

Perhaps you know the posters history and can judge his intent.

I think a sarcasm meter (emoticon) or /sarcasm was warranted.

He is joking or he is an alter is a cop out for a lot of dumb posts.

Yes, I'm serious. When time is of the essence, I think the guy goes spastic and freezes. I'm not saying he hasn't put a guy back to return a potential missed long kick in the past. What I'm saying is time and time again, when the clock is running down...the guy can't multi-task.

Most recently, he let a TREMENDOUS amount of time run off the clock at the end of the Ole Piss game and though our chances were slim...he called the TO too late to be of any benefit. So...when the guy has to think on his feet, I'm afraid there's a real chance that he gets too focused on the kick...and trying to block a low one...and brain farts w/ no guy back to potentially return it.

Look, I truly love the guy, but he freezes in the crunch...and I feel there's a good chance he would have missed this opportunity. And I base this on his CHRONIC recurrent pattern of screwing up his end game management. I stand by this!

I don't think it's dumb. I truly think that Miles is a spastic guy...whose spasticity shines as the clock winds down. He's biggest gaffs are at the end of games when he is the man responsible for the quick decision. Hopefully, he would have made the same decision, I am simply not 100% confident that he would have.

Again, I respect the man...he has made some great hiring decisions...he is an outstanding recruiter...he's our goofy, lovable coach, but his end game management scares the holy crap out of me.

Spastic people don't earn the keys to a major college football program and improve it. Don't you ever get it twisted and think that these coaches are anything but intensely organized, ritualistic, mathematically sound near geniuses. These guys are juggling more than we could ever dream of and doing it while under a massive microscope with idiots like you looking through it. Miles would have had us in a position to win because he knows more about football than every single person on this site or any site.

I don't give a shite about a game with about 2:30 left in the 3rd quarter. Miles doesn't mishandle things in that situation...it's when time is running out and he totally screws the pooch. Time and time again, common sense football gets swept under the rug when the clock is running out with Miles.
