Is the GBFTL making the trip to Syracuse?

I like how I asked that question in the Syracuse flight thread, then you answered my question, only to start a separate thread asking the question you answered. 
But I do hope they send 110, but I doubt it. I would be shocked if they sent the entire band.

In years past, the normal travel bands were ~100 for bus trips (one full band bus trip), and ~50 for plane trips.

hmm, yea that makes sense. that isn't a high-profile game either, so it might be just 50 or so

It is highly unlikely any of the band will make that trip. Full band to Bama likely

We haven't heard yet but going from how it has been in the past, it will be the 50 person pep band. I highly doubt they wouldn't send anyone.

LSU AD attempted to not send anyone to the Washington game a few years back. Enough people bitched, so they sent 50 or so. It might have even been less, like 30 or something ridiculous.

They sent 55 which is what they send on far away games. They usually send 55 to South Carolina but will they do that twice in one season? That trip isn't much farther than Georgia where they send 110.

I know it's probably not financially feasible, but I wish the whole Tiger Band could go to all of the away games.

LSU does NOT send the full band to Alabama, at least not since 2005.

Do you realize how much this would cost?
Sending the entire band on a simple bus trip somewhere is well into the SIX FIGURES. As much as I like the band, I would be borderline outraged if they spent that kind of money 4 times a year.

It's pretty easy to add it up.
The full band takes up about 450-500 seats. Depending on which school it is, that could be anywhere from $25k to $50k right there.
Feeding that many people 3-4 meals is $10k or more.
100 hotel rooms is another $10k.
Then add the buses, state troopers, equipment trucks, and other expenses. It isn't cheap.
