Could be germans, but saw it scroll across the screen during USC/Wash game. If so, they dropping huge dollars to help make this game possible.

Also saw that on the LSU Parents page.

I'd think that was part of the arrangements/agreements. But who knows they might just have decided to do it.

Is LSU covering the cost of the charter or are they just letting USC use the charter they had reserved to get to Columbia (paid for by USC)?

LSU would have paid for charter if game had remained in Columbia. Not at all inappropriate for LSU to bear the cost, consistent with USC being the "home team". Probably same cost LSU would have had if game not moved.

Lsu probably had paid for it and couldn't get a refund.

Arizona State did the same for us in 2005. They went even further and paid for the pep band to travel to Tempe too. Very classy of ASU.

This.

Alleva said "the same plane that was to take us there is actually bringing them here." or some such.

Same charter plane.

Not sure who is paying though.

LSU does not need to pay for USC's plane ride unless USC Athletics is donating a bunch of money to the flood effort, IMO

YES...the United Charter was already booked to take
LSU to Columbia, SC...so LSU offered to transfer the prepaid
booking to SC.

Quite a gesture.

LSU had already budgeted a charter flight to and from Columbia.
