Talent wise, I've heard that we are not talented as we think we are, so the next guy is kinda screwed, no?

I'd worry about the defensive talent moreso than the offensive talent.

The cupboard isn't bare, that's for sure. I just want to see a offense that isn't confused all the time. Is that too much to ask for?

1. We still don't know if he's out. (though I hope so)
2. LSU has gobs of talent, getting out of the SEC West unscathed is the problem.
3. No one is truly "Screwed" at LSU

it really depends upon coaching.. because really we have no idea..

i would say it's talented enough to compete given the right coaching regardless

maybe not as elite as we think.. but my goodness you have the bulk of the team returning next season. that in itself is huge

Are we already lining up excuses for the next guy?

So a timeout or a delay of the game penalty isn't really needed to tun the toss sweep?

Front seven is still going to be a major issue and we still have no QB depth whatsoever.

Everybody knows this team is talented just poorly coached and undisciplined

Maybe, Les had several championship caliber teams that underachieved. This is one of the main reasons he is leaving after this season.

well I dunno, I've heard that we can blame chavis and Haley for the defensive depth woes that we are having this year, so it's not really gonna fix itself that quick, I don't think.

No. Next year will be worse due to depth at DT and ILB.

Can't believe I'm actually reading this. If you think this in any way similar to what Saban left Miles, you're dreaming.

We really needed this defensive class. I hope whoever comes in can salvage some of it. We need front 7 depth and to sign a QB.

that transfer from Purdue was a top 10 qb in his class

i have no idea, but he must have some talent

the dline depth is still the biggest concern, but our guys who transferred out/kicked out want back in i think.. would be something to consider haha altho not likely..

we have the talent on the dline.. but we dont have enough bodies to rotate as often as we should. we did so well stopping the run early on in the season.. but against physical teams we sure wore out quick... especially in the 2nd half

well if you think about it, it's actually a legit question.

The fanbase role reversal will be great, actually. The former 'negas' will say that the next guy should be given time to get his talent in while the pro-Miles faction will be less than tolerant with patience and losses. It'll be quite the sight on this site.

Yup, I really think Jimbo can do this so hopefully all the speculation is true. I don't see another name that can keep this class together and the lack of ILB and DL will hurt the coach for the foreseeable future.
