11 years of being confused, injuries happen more, because of work ethic, discipline,etc....these are not traits of Miles and never will be, he has a Heisman candidate who should be returning kick offs, punts, passing the ball...remember , we won a NC with Saban recruits..by backing in..not Romping in...as we should have!

In my opinion...no. Championships are won in the trenches and our starting o line and d line are obviously not championship caliber. Add to that a lack of depth along the lines coupled with what will be an average/inexperienced group of LBs (Riley, Alexander...and a bunch of freshmen)...I just don't see it.

LSU will be much more entertaining to watch, but we have to fill the holes left in recruiting the past two years before becoming championship caliber again.

SO IF THE NEXT GUY WINS OVER THE NEXT 4 YEARS EVERYONE BETTER SAYS IT WAS WITH MILES RECRUITS. I'VE BEEN HEARING IT FOR 11 YEARS. EVEN THOUGH STOOPS WON WITH BLAKE'S, COKER WON WITH BUTCH'S, TRESSELL WON WITH COOPER'S, MEYER WON WITH ZOOK'S, OH, AND SABAN WON WITH SHULA AND DINARDO'S. COME ON DOWN JIMBO(AINT HAPPINGING) BUT I'LL TAKE HERMAN EVEN THOUGH THEY WON'T HIRE HIM

Of course, it'll prove the Negatigers right. Miles underachieved with his own. Is that what you were looking for?

If you think this in any way similar to what Saban left Miles, you're dreaming.

Hmm, are you saying Saban underachieved with the 9-3 team he left behind?

we had 3 freshman starting on the oline.. and all 3 were extremely high recruits with tons of talent..

these guys should get stronger and with experience.. better

of course not... It was always the next year they pointed to as a title year.

exactly.

i hate seeing LSU fans so negative

we have signed some tremendous classes and this freshman class really hit hard on the oline. we got some studs here.

Need to bring in a HUGE d line and line backers class this year or we are screwed.

The next guy could make a run at the playoffs depending on the 2016 class we end up with.

we have some talent but we also have some major gaping holes. I don't think we are texas bad off yet but we are approaching it. The new coach might have to plug some of it with Juco guys.

I think when history looks back it will see that Miles rep as a great recruiter is overrated. We had some major holes in our classes lately.

He just brought in two top 5 classes and we're likely to land another one coming up unless it completely scatters. The problem isn't going to be talent anymore.

I think what a lot of people don't realize is that we're finally going to be fully recovered from subpar 2012 and 2013 recruiting classes that really hurt our depth.

LSU has the talent to beat everyone except BAMA(and its getting = to Ole Miss/aTm) on the regular. Ecspecially next year.

To beat BAMA and win an NC will take a little more than talent.

IMO no, there are holes along both fronts that need to be addressed. But overall the talent is there to compete for the West.

You can have top rated classes and still leave major holes in your recruiting classes. QB and LB are prime examples.
