Colt McCoy was the running game. He was also a senior. And he also played against juggernaut defenses in the likes of Texas tech and A&M. Terrible comparison.

I have a want to be able to use JJ and progression in the same sentence in a positive way.

Did you look at LSU's schedule last year? I guess you didn't.

Show me how good the oline is, and I'll tell you if JJ has progressed. W/o a good oline, doesn't really matter who the qb is.

Lets face it LSU never will have that All American QB. It's year after year after year we are hoping that QB doesn't suck

that's not as big a deal as you seem to think it is.

seems to be right on par with last season.

yeah, because a practice is the same as a game. Same gameplans and strategies.

I did not watch the "game". So I have no idea what plays they ran. I don't know how this "game" was organized. How many deep passes were thrown? Do you know? Maybe a couple passes were thrown away because of the pass rush. I don't know.

So to say those stats are a good indication of anything is a little over the top.

have you ever played sports?

Maybe they threw 5 screens that didn't work. I don't know and I doubt you know either.

yes.. apparently you havent.
In practice/controlled scrimmages you replicate game type situations.
Down and distances situational plays on various times of game and yr lines.

JJ's production of what LSU released is typical of what we saw last year.
Really not that hard to get bro.

If you wanna pawn it off on the possibilty of 5 busted screens go ahead.

Miles did mention he didnt like the tempo and didnt know if that was necessarily jordans fault. Mentioned some penalties from the line and they are concentrating on the run. Lee had more attempts. Not sure what that means.

Just saying you don't know what plays they ran.

And to get worked up over those stats is dumb.

we all saw how much stats meant when mauck threw 5 ints in the 2003 spring game, or when lee looked good in the 2008 spring game.

spring practice stats don't mean crap.

I agree. Its the games that count and LSU needs a QB that can consistently move the chains, and get the ball in the end zone. Anything else is meaningless. I don't give a rats arse if JJ throws 20 INT's this year if he can move the ball and get some points on the board.

what LSU's qb situation has come down to.

none of the other thousand plus thing a good qb does for his team is important to many of you..
He just doesnt throw the picks like JL did.
and he is only 19. boom.
