How long have you been an LSU? Les will never reveal how Fournette is doing until game day.

Why don't you ask Les? I'm sure he'd be glad to tell you.

He doesn't need to take hits, but he needs to be doing drills/workouts as soon as he can.

You know how it feels when you do leg day 2x a week for months, you barely notice it day to day.
Take 3 weeks off and get back in the gym and you will take a full week to recover from your workout. And while you won't lose much max strength you won't be hitting that high weight for as many sets. Same applies to every motion he will make running in a game.

The longer he "rests" the longer it will take for his body to be able to perform at maximum capacity for the full duration of a game, and the longer it will take him to recover between games.
If he's still injured though nothing you can do but stay off it. That's the question though, how bad is his ankle. how much actual "rest" vs just how much non contact rest is it causing him to receive

Depends. Sometimes months, sometimes days.

And how do you know he is not? Even if he is still hurt he is doing some kind of drill/workout.

I don't know if he is. I'm hoping he is, but we don't know how bad (if at all) he is actually injured.

Just responding to people that think he needs to be sitting on the sideline in a boot at practice even if he is able to drill just because he's Leonard Fournette and doesn't need practice.

I do not trust a damn thing that Les says to the media. Most of the times it's the opposite. I honestly don't think he'll be ready.

I'm guessing you've never played any sports. Sprained ankles are graded and everyone is different.

Depends on if he just stretched/pulled the ankle, tore some tendons, or tore all or near all of them.

I would assume with the fact that he's walking around he's either just pulled the tendons or tore a couple. Wouldn't expect him out longer than 2-4 weeks.
