if he plays he wont be 100%.
ankle injuries take a while
That's assuming you know the severity of the injury. If he just got it rolled up on and they are keeping him out for precautions then he will be ok.

The injury occurred on August 16. Game day will be 18 days post injury. Unless it is a really severe sprain, you are looking at a recovery period of 15 to 30 days.
So the odds indicate that it is something that will still be bothering him come game time unless it was truly minor and this is totally precautional.
If its a bad sprain and he doesn't re-aggravate it by rushing to return, he should be good to go by Mississippi State.
All bets are off if he tore it up.

In Japan they refer to pantie-waisted weak dudes as "grass eaters." To answer the original question, Grass Eater, the team will be ready.

Fournette hasn't practiced in a week. Just saying that is a little concerning. I hope he is okay.

I heard he was declared ineligible because he's actually a football robot sent from the future to destroy defensive backs.
See, I can make shite up too.

I wanted to see 250 yards and 4 tds.- and him running all over Lambeau field. He needs this for a Heisman run!!????

Let him play in a boot.
Maybe Wisky can catch him then?

The longer he "rests" the longer it will take for his body to be able to perform at maximum capacity for the full duration of a game, and the longer it will take him to recover between games.
You're assuming he recovers at normal human speed.. which is dumb since he does everything else at superhuman speed.

for all we know this ankle injury could be a ruse made up by the mad hatter to throw off the psyche of the WISCY D.
