Yea lets throw to receivers that don't get open and drop passes just because they are on the team and deserve to get as many touches as LF even though we lose the game. It's only fair! The players need that exposure for the NFL the hell with LSU actually winning the game.

Seems like a very selfish comment on his part in the middle of the season. The passive nature in which he and dural play with may have something to do with them not getting the ball

Compare that attitude and public statement with Fournette's.
Humility will take you far.
Even if you FEEL that way... you should NEVER state that publicly! Especially when you have not caught the ones coming your way!
Bad form, my young padawan!

wow. if i were Les,....he and I would be having a little private meeting and that kinda talk would not go public again.
Yeah you can't have people telling the truth.
Also, classic Rant ragging on him for his troubles this year as if that's the reason LSU hasn't utilized it's WRs well for so long, outside ignite one year when they were both first rounders.
He's absolutely right as far as why we don't get elite QBs, also.

Anybody can make a highlight reel without blocking and no DB's on the field. Gotta remember, he went to John Curtis, and they throw "less" than LSU but think they're better than everyone else. He's like the ugly chick with the great body, "Good from far, Far from good."

A public comment was wrong but glad he's competative and wants the ball. Everyone knows our passing game has been terrible. I would be disappointed if he wasn't fustrated.

Prima Donna WRs soon learn what the bench perspective is. But they can sow seeds of negativity that might spread. So his comments need to be addressed by coaching, quickly, forcefully, and with no uncertainty.
But if he'd just catch the ball...

Not to be a dick here, but the only thing Chi would touch more often in an air raid scheme is the bench.
If you drop balls and let smaller, less talented DBs beat you in a pass-first scheme, you lose your spot.
That said, I think he is capable of being very good. But I'd be honestly surprised if he gets many (if any) targets this weekend.

Or Flynn, Russel, Perrilloux (5 star), the kid that went to the Dodgers at the last minute (5 star), Russel Sheppard (5 star). Lee was a 4 start, if memory serves and was a huge get at the time.
I'd say our luck with QBs has been shite.

He's right. They would be unstoppable if they had an even competent passing game.

....but hes great at youtube basketball dunking clips......
to read that is VERY disheartening, especially on the heals of performing poorly. It reflects poorly on him. If you are catching everything thrown your way and giving great effort, then you can build your case for a PRIVATE discussion with the coaches.
I trust he and Les will make amends internally.

Can Malachi focus on attacking the ball as a #2 target for Harris pls?

Listen, not attacking the kid, but I honestly haven't seen anything special out of him this year yet. I guarantee you that if he goes after every ball (whether on target or maybe he has to adjust a little) all out, and owns the ball, he will get more looks his way. IMO, he, nor Dural, or really any of our WR's, have done anything to help out our young qb's. It's almost as if there is some type of rift with the WR's and the lack of passing....and it is impacting their play. I guarantee you that we have some other guys on the bench, while maybe not quite as talented, will go all out on the field. I suspect if our starters continue the half arse play, we will get to find out soon enough about these backups....and I'm all for that.
