Dupre should worry more about watching the ball all the way in and worry less about what he would do if he was being recruited again.

I'm curious what was omitted from the quote in the elipsis. Seems like it was inserted out of context and not in concert with his other quotes in the article.

Dont say shite like that man. Its a team game and thats a me mentality

Oh and catch everything in sight and youll see more opportunities. Simple fact

2 or so passes were thrown in the second half against Eastern Michigan. That was the direct result of the first half dropsies

he has to realize his time is coming.. they are all still young. he should really break out the next two seasons. with a junior/season qb..

i mean odell and jarvis had to go through this..

right??

right??

actually, i have no idea.. but he's been frustrated since last year. he still had a TD this past game though

Why is anyone shocked by this comment? Do y'all think the receivers like stalk blocking?

quote:

He needs to learn to catch the ball better and tell his teammates the same, then they could trust to throw to them more often.

Yeah, this isn't the week for him to be making that statement.

He needs to be thinking about what he personally needs to do to take some of the load off of Fournette.

He really needs to get a better mindset.

This should be even more incentive to continue to advance and craft his skill. Work even harder and take more advantage of the limited opportunities he receives.. and then be rewarded.

This is not a good sign from one of our best offensive players. We will def need him down the stretch and this kind of attitude can be contagious to other teammates as well as recruits.

I understand to a degree but that's not something he should say in an interview.

Throw it more so they can drop it more? Coaches will find it hard to live with that.

we've got a multitude of wide receivers the past 5 years that are having successful NFL careers right now

GIVE IT SOME TIME

eta: YOU ARE HERE TO PRODUCE WHEN YOU ARE CALLED UPON, GIVE LEADERSHIP, AND WIN AS A TEAM. THE NFL WILL COME.

That explains a lot. Attitude like that transfers over to the field. Sure hope that negative attitude doesn't spread across the rest of the team. Maybe there are guys behind him ready to prove they are glad to be here. Sure hate he feels that way.

Not exactly isolated. He only had two other lines in the article. The one about the F minus and the bit about the blocking following up on what I quoted. Neither one of those somehow place what I quoted in a different light.

Next man up. If Dupre and Dural want to pout about not getting the ball but drop it non stop when they get chances, I'm sure the guys behind them would love to step in and make the most of their opportunities.
