This is the byproduct of not taking games seriously enough.

These guys would look better right now, and Miles would have thrown the ball more these last couple of games against over-matched opponents if Dupre and Dural had made the plays they should be making. The total joke of a performance against EMU was all because they were not mentally ready to play.

In the end, they are hurting themselves for the "real games" coming up by screwing up the time they have before the meat of the schedule to gain experience, confidence and chemistry with Harris.

I remember speedy saying he didn't want to go to Leonard state university and I'm wondering if the wrs are not happy with fournette getting all the attention all the time and feeling left out. At the same time they have to catch and help out the qb when Harris throws them the ball. I hope with Leonard success this doesn't divide some of the players like Malachi and Dural not giving a 100% effort. When bama game comes we are going to really need our wrs to go 100% because we can't beat them without them making plays

Can anyone imagine Fournette saying anything like this if the roles were reversed?

Fournette is too busy being unselfish by not giving a frick about records and carrying the team on his back to give a shite about his individual statistics and goals.

He's not begging for attention, he's on pace for over 2400 yards in 11 games. Should he tell the coaches not give him the ball so the receivers feelings arent hurt?

Also, speedy noil is retarded.

I'm a little disappointed in Dupre. He doesn't seem to be much of a team player. He's also completely ignoring how poorly he and the other receivers have played, and that we threw the ball a lot against EM, especially in the first half. Harris had 15 attempts, probably closer to 19 counting the pass interference penalties. Most of those attempts came in the first half. The coaches committed to running the ball when they realized we were only up by 6 (and that the receivers couldn't catch a cold) against Eastern Frickin' Michigan.

I also wonder if it had anything to do with Fournette saying after the game how a lot of the leaders we're joking around all week in practice leading up to the game. Hopefully any possible tension has been squashed by now and the focus is back.

My current all time great americans rankings

1. Ben Franklin
2. Aaron Rodgers
3. Leonard Fournette
4. Barry Sanders
5. Allen Iverson

Fournette has the potential to take Ben Frank out the top spot

Wow, he says that after the performance the receivers put on? Sorry Chi, didn't realize playing on a team with a potential all timer was such a burden. Maybe catch the ball and you'll get more looks.

I know he is not asking for attention. It's not Leonard's fault he gives it his all and is very successful and espn has his highlights on. Leonard is a team player and the wrs need to do the same. Dural and Malachi need to be more aggressive going for the ball like odell and Jarvis did. They are lacking that killer instinct.

OBJ and Jarvis didn't say that. It's not LSU's fault. Catch the ball and you will get the looks you desire.

It sucks he said that out of frustration but it's not like he doesn't have a point.

Whether or not it's appropriate for him to say it, he's certainly right. He's had drops and so has Dural, but Miles is not putting any of them in a position to succeed.

Hard to really get that pissed at them for a couple of drops when Miles outright refuses to get them repetition with the intermediate passing game.

So you think saying this in an interview is justified? I hope you're not a father

But seriously, don't have kids

Agree 100%. I had no problems with the WR's in the first 3 games but Saturday they have no one to blame but themselves for basically all getting "benched" in the 2nd half. Drops happen but having zero interest is inexcusible.

Why is he complaining about not getting the ball then, especially after the last game. My memory may be fuzzy, but I think they were on pace to throw the ball 25-30 times, but the score and poor play from the receivers (Harris wasn't lights out either) dictated that we commit to the run.

I think Miles wanted to establish the passing game vs. EMU, but it sure as hell wasn't working out.
