Damn don't see any way he can stay on staff after that...is this a way of pushing him out without firing him?

Perhaps he meant to say "interim"

Don't you folks think that he used the word "interim" but everyone on this site wants to hear it as "intern"?

Les' entire demeanor changed when he got asked that question about Brick. It was awkward. I don't necessarily want to see Haley leave but I don't see how he can stay now.

His exact words were, "He's currently an intern for us."

Brick will stay. He has a $100K buyout and he has a child that needs special care and it is all setup in BR. I believe he will be give the new assistant coach position when it is created by the SEC. He'll be in an admin position until them.

Matt Moscona ?@MattMoscona 4m4 minutes ago

Explanation I was given on Les calling Brick Haley an "intern": Official title is Administrative Intern per NCAA rule.

After listening to Steele on DP's radio show, he deferred to Miles when asking about Brick's future..Sounded like whatever discussions Brick and Miles have had over the last couple of weeks have not gone well...I wanted Brick to coach LBs but I think he is all but gone

Many Ranters have observed an inconsistent pass rush by the LSU D.

Who was to blame? Chavis or Brick?

Doesn't matter now. Either way the problem is fixed.

We would have one coach too mamy. Re-assign Brick until the rule change. Or, put him the in cooler until he leaves on his own.

Looks like he's got interest from a&m and BAMA.

Look to see these recruiting battles absolutely get dirty, I'm sure.
