In basketball, do we have a "team" or just a collection of talented players?

This kind of works, because everything I've noticed with this team that Ive seen with all the good ones have is the lack of passion. Our guys play with zero emotion or hard focus and i find thats less of on the players and more to do with CJJ. It's the coaches job to get your players ready to go. Antonio Blakeney is quoted saying he likes Johnny Jones because he gives his players lots of freedom.

A collection of talented players? We have one player with talent. 3 more good players, who are limited. Bottom line, this team just lacks basketball IQ. It's cost them too many times.

We have a team...and then we have Jordan Mickey, a six foot eight fullback who specializes in fumbling.

Sometimes they play like a well oiled machine, other times they look like a bunch of guys who just got picked to play a pick up game. Our entire team other then Keith is still developing and figuring out how they fit in. It's the biggest reason why I hope M&M come back next year. Another offseason playing and practicing together will be great for the team, and it would be nice to have M&M to rely on while the freshmen acclimate to college basketball.

It seems to me a collection of players with low basketball IQ. A talented team is a good team.

We almost have a pickup team. Coach Jones picked his favorite 5 players and plays them until it is absolutely necessary to sub them out. He likes Gray (he is very talented) so he gets some time. But everyone else is basically a filler.

The players work really hard and play with a lot of emotion. Unfortunately not all of that is guided. Patterson, a true freshman, feels free to take a "heat check" after his first made 3 pointer of the game. The rule of working the ball inside before taking 3's has gone completely out the window. Mickey has been run into the ground and now has a problem with his shoulder that the coach is all too willing to let him play through... just like he let TQ play hurt against scrub teams in December.

It looks more like a pickup game because LSU has a ton of big players, yet at times, with the SEC tournament on the line, played with Martin (not a huge inside presence) and 4 guards at times against a team with a huge size disadvantage. At other times we can see an undersized 6'3" power forward playing with him as if that fixes anything.

No they don't, this team is apathetic and unemotional the majority of the time. A true reflection of their coach, who is about as animated as a corpse.

How quickly this fanbase is willing to shite on it's own. Sad.

It's pretty pathetic. I understand that people are upset when the team underperforms, but the baseless accusations that no one cares is so stupid it hurts.

Very little passion with anyone on this team. It's seams like every opponent we play has a player who is emotional at times throughout the game. Hardly ever anyone on our team
