I hate about 80% of people who attempt to post about basketball

I agree. They come along when there's hope and when there's nothing to work with, it's crickets.
Remember, football fans, 1994 vs. USM at home? That's what one of every three basketball seasons is.
Not that the team does not deserve some criticism, but without SOPHOMORE Jordan Mickey, we'd be .500 ala Tennessee or Florida.

From an SEC experience across the board standpoint, we have a very YOUNG team. Auburn burned us with a senior who was top SEC scorer and a guard [where we are extremely young].
.
Injuries happen. Exhaustion happens. Both lead to less than stellar play often at crucial times. Quality Depth wins basketball tournaments and assures consistency even when there's less emotion against the weaker teams. Quality bench players are hungry to show their good stuff and carry the load in those games.
.
Bottom line. We need all back and all hopefuls to sign with us. Then watch and enjoy; surprises will even flow from players least expected.
