In the SEC, Les Miles has compiled these records:

21-9 vs the SEC West
13-7 vs the SEC East (including 1-1 in the SECCG)

6-0 vs Miss St
4-2 vs Bama
4-2 vs Ole Miss
4-2 vs Auburn
3-3 vs Arkansas

2-0 vs South Carolina
3-0 vs Vanderbilt
3-1 vs Tennessee (1-0 SECCG)
3-3 vs Florida
1-1 vs Kentucky
1-2 vs UGA (0-1 SECCG)

I get the .500 record against UF. That's actually impressive in a 6-year span, better than most teams would have done. What is crazy is that we have a winning record against 7 SEC teams but are only .500 against Arkansas in 6 years.

Les has 1 championship, and we are no longer considered an SEC frontrunner.

It would be shocking if LSU is not considered the favorites to win the SEC in 2011.

So we lose our top 3 players on defense along with our best 2 special teamers and return the QB that led us to the 84th ranked offense, and that says "SEC favorites" to you?

But no doubt, if we're watching two other teams in Atlanta come December, the Les faithful will be here telling us to be satisfied and wait until next year.

I guess you don't pay attention to the other teams much

And you think we are the only school in the SEC who will lose top players this season???

I wouldn't think of telling you to be satisfied will 10-2 and a Top 10 ranking in the BCS.

I firmly believe in individual rights. So, you have the right to be as unsatisfied as you want.

Me, I can live with 10-2, another New Year Day bowl, and a shot at 11-2.

Hey uway, LSU was only a front runner for 1 year with Saban. Get over it. We have a good coach. Unlike Burger King, you can't have it UWAY!

auburn loses Malzahn, Newton & Fairley; they will have Dyer though.

Bama loses McElroy, Julio Jones & Ingram, Hanks and likely Hightower

Arkansas loses Ryan Mallet and likely Joe Adams

I'm sure there are others but i just listed the most notable.

Okay, I almost fell outta my chair laughing at that one.

You have to understand...................some folks just WANT to be miserable. Like yourself, I'm gonna enjoy 10-2 and hopefully a trip to the Cotton Bowl.

Auburn is going to lose I think 18 starters this year. It won't be pretty.

CBS guys said that Auburn had 24 Seniors during Fridays Iron Bowl. Add lootin Newton and that is
29.4% of the team.

how about we look at the last 3 years when he was finally playing with his talent and recruits.

08-10
8-7 vs the SEC West
6-3 vs the SEC East *no SEC champ. games

3-0 vs Miss St
1-2 vs Bama
1-2 vs Ole Miss
2-1 vs Auburn
1-2 vs Arkansas

1-0 vs South Carolina
2-0 vs Vanderbilt
1-0 vs Tennessee
1-2 vs Florida
0-0 vs Kentucky
1-1 vs UGA

That is 3 losing records against western div. teams.

I'm happy Les got LSU to a 10-2 record this year and I'm not saying he needs to be fired after going 10-2. I do think the last three yeasr are pretty telling when it comes to the future of this program.

Just for the record, were you happy with the 2004 season at this time that year? Did you think that was meeting expectations and that LSU fans should be happy with such seasons?

I understand everyone wants to give credit to saban for his recruits and all but recruits are recruits. Without a coach, they are nothing!

Also, we didn't fire Saban, he left. So get over it.
