I wouldn't think of telling you to be satisfied will 10-2 and a Top 10 ranking in the BCS.

I firmly believe in individual rights. So, you have the right to be as unsatisfied as you want.

Me, I can live with 10-2, another New Year Day bowl, and a shot at 11-2

Wait thats accepting mediocrity.

Les has 1 championship, and we are no longer considered an SEC frontrunner.

Fail.

First, in the same time span there's 116 other FBS HC's who have 0 BCS championship rings and would love to be in Les Mile's shoes.

Second, since 2006 Urban Meyers is the only SEC coach with more BCS Bowl appearances (3) than Miles (2). Further, LSU has won every BCS bowl game played under Miles; LSU is the only team in the nation to win every BCS game in which it played.

Third, except for 2008 (when ranked #11) LSU is consistently one of the top 10 recruiting teams in the nation under Miles.

Finally, since 2006 Les Miles has put more players into the NFL than any other SEC coach.

LSU has more players returning next season than any other SEC West team and I fully expect will be picked to win the SEC West Div, if not the SEC.

Prepare to be shocked. Alabama and if Cam stays for his senior season Auburn will be picked ahead of LSU. Mississippi State is trending up and not sure how Arkansas will be perceived after loosing Mallett. LSU will be picked pre-season 3 or 4 next year.

I think you're on the wrong board. The board for little whinny, pessimistic, spoiled, cynical bitches is listed under "Alabama Crimson Tide"...

Why would you look at the last 5 years of a 6 year coaching resume, just to exclude the other SECCG appearance?

Let's look at it this way:

Spurrier -- 18 years -- 8 SECCG appearances, 5-2 record (last appearance before this year: 2000)
Nutt -- 13 years -- 3 SECCG appearances, 0-3 record (last appearance: 2006)
Richt -- 11 years -- 3 SECCG appearances, 2-1 record (last appearance: 2005)
Saban -- 9 years -- 4 SECCG appearances, 3-1 record (last appearance: 2009)
Miles -- 6 years -- 2 SECCG appearances, 1-1 record (last appearance: 2007)
Meyer -- 6 years -- 3 SECCG appearances, 2-1 record (last appearance: 2009)

Phillips, Mullen, Petrino, Dooley have 0 appearances.

Chizik is about to have #1 in year 2 of his SEC tenure.

In the past 10 years, Miles (2), Saban (4), Meyer (3), Richt (3), Nutt (2), and Spurrier (1) cover 15 of the 20 appearances in the SECCG, and we are going to bitch about having 2 appearances in 6 years?

2010 - SECW Champ went undefeated
2009 - SECW Champ went undefeated
2008 - SECW Champ went undefeated
2007 - LSU won the West
2006 - LSU beat Arky... and should have won the tiebreaker, but the Auburn refs didn't want that.

Things have been abnormal in the SECW the last few years, as you can see from 2008-2010. That being said, we SHOULD win it in 2011, making it 2 in the last 5 years, which is much more acceptable, IMO.

and if Miles wins the bowl game, he will become only the 3rd coach in SEC history to win 11 games in 4 different seasons.
