After the game I was very irritated, and when I came to The Rant, it just made it worse (It usually does). Most people were solely blaming our coach for the loss, which is unfair, IMO. So, I called people morons, which wasn't fair either.
The truth is that JJ deserves some criticism, mainly for failing to find and utilize quality depth. Hopefully that will get better as JJ continues to recruit well.
I will say that only great teams have depth, and it's usually because they have years and years of solid recruiting and name recognition. Look at the team's who are deep: UK, Duke, Arizona, etc. Most teams who haven't made the NCAAt in 6 years don't have depth. Not trying to make excuses for JJ, but depth is a problem for a lot of teams that are not at the elite level.
I still say that this game was lost by the players lack of ability to convert shots that they should've converted. I don't think the players feel like the coaches lost the game for them. It was definitely a team effort.
Anyway, sorry for the moron comment. It was unnecessary.

Last night was awful for both LSU teams I watched, so I went to Vikings and a D-Day documentary to lighten up.
At least the basketball bunch had prepared me in advance for this disappointment, and here lately the baseball team is working on it regardless of their ultimate fate.

No problem. Everyone was upset last night. We were all throwing blame around.
I think that as an LSU fan, I am just getting tired of this. It felt like the end it the Alabama game last year or in 2012 or the Georgia and Ole Miss games in 2013 or the Notre Dame bowl game or multiple basketball games this year - you get my point. It is just a continual situation.

Sleep didn't work for me, but after taking the day off and spending it at a bar I'm almost over it.

I had a Jameson after the game and washed away the frustration.
