Chavis - Incredible, and clearly the trust for one on one coverage with the new corner backs is back and enabled the blitz. Mills was great in nickle.

Miles - set into motion a very cleaver switch in offensive strategy played to date this year. Instead of relying on LSU's stellar pass success, he went to his old school gut (which is always run first) and fooled the UF defense who banked on the play action early.

Cam - listened to Miles overall strategy and CC called the right runs and pass plays that were needed to win.

this is an interesting and developing team that is learning to adapt to win. Not a one trick pony.

Way to go defense. Well done my LSU brothers. Made LSU nation proud tonight.

Agree 100%.

Plus, by going old school smashmouth, Miles challenged our weakest areas, O-line and Defense to step up big time.

Those guys were light years better tonight, maybe because Miles and his coaching staff put the game on their shoulders and challenged them to get the job done.

It was probably a bit of a gamble, but it worked like a charm. Those guys are so proud now. They tasted the sweet satisfaction of delivering a W to the team.

Mett thanked the defense after the game and admitted the offense did not have its "A" game.
He promised the offense would hold up its end next game.

We should have scored at least 14 more, but the defense took up the slack and made 17 points enough.

This win brought this team together for the first time, offense and defense.

We gonna be badass from here on out. I like our chances to pursue our dreams.

I wish more people would 'get it'.

Some fans would be more happy if we lose but look like we did against the bulldawgs.

Coaching is all about strategy.
And football is about winning.

With Stanford and UGA going down and TAMU looking like it might fall as well, our dreams are ever closer.

LSU showed it can win it any style today and that bodes well going forward. I like the "W" and don't care if it happened on the ground or in the air.

Love that our D played its best game today and think their confidence will only grow throughout the season.

Now if Stanford can beat Oregon...

I most definitely believe that we have the best current overall staff int e nation.

As for CCC, even though he is only a half a season into his time here, it is now obvious that he hasn't just improved the offensive players play in nearly every aspect of the passing game. He has also chowed us that he really can game plan and adjust mid game for anything that the defense throws out there. The offense that he has developed has too many weapons for Cam not to be able to find and exploit a defenses weak points. This makes him the best in my book.

The Chief

I love Les' love for the I-Form and power FB. I always knew that he wanted to be balanced but couldn't do it in the past. This year shows us that Les is all about the multiweapon juggernaut offense that can play big boy FB.

I always said that this eyar was a great year for winning it all and it is looking better and better every week. None of us should have doubted the Chief. There were just too much talent to have a crappy defense. Time is all that it took for this squad to reach the level of a tough SEC defense today. They still aren't at the typical LSU standards but they might get there by the time that we face the gumps and AtM.

Props out to the Mett for keeping the pasing game effective even though they ran the ball most of the time. Even tho0ugh he threw more bad balls than I have seen him throw yet this year, he still had a great percentage and clutch on a bunch of third downs.

The receivers dropped a few but the turnovers really would have killed most other teams in the natoipn. In our case, the turnovers simply kept the game close enough so that Florida didn't look ike they were dominated nearly as bad as they really were. It would have been a blow out without those turnovers.

Congrats on a great win Tigers. Also, Congrats on giving all of htose top recruits a great show. Your performance tonight will go a long way towards getting their commitments.

So...if I don't know anything about football (or proper capitalization, for that matter) who does the win go to? Certainly not your English teacher.

This D was awesome today. I was pleased to see our guys in the backfield many times today. The coverage was great and the run D adjusted after a few big runs. Chief had his men ready for battle, as did Cam.

Topped off with an awesome post game by Miles.

Too bad he wasn't smart enough to beat UGA.
