Assuming you're talking about them in their current state the list goes:
1. Matt Flynn - Possibly a starting NFL QB. Given the value of this position there is literally not another answer, it's moronic to suggest anyone else. With the additional time he's experienced in the film room at the professional level it would be insane to see him against college opponents.
2A. Michael Brockers - Somewhat of a curveball, but if he's as good as he's cracked up to be you take him over PP7. Pairing him with Freak would be criminal, think Dorsey pre-chop block x10.
2B. Patrick Peterson - Surprised so many had him at 1. Sure he's a freak, but this secondary should be pretty beastly without him. The value of the QB/DT positions plus the lack of anyone (QB) and depth (DT) at those positions bumps Peterson down.

People talking Flynn is fricking laughable. I'd take 360lb Russell over Flynn in college any fricking day.

We're talking about them right now. Right now Flynn is a veteran NFL player, who would destroy college defenses

I hope for your sake he doesn't show up with a bottle of codeine and a box of doughnuts.
You know what you're getting with Flynn...a dude who can hold an NFL roster spot. You have no idea what you are getting with JRock, who hasn't played in years.

That's a good one, along with Brockers.

Just to recap this entire thread:
-Half of the posters did not read/understand the OP and stated that they would put old/dead guys on LSU's roster right now.
-Out of the half that did understand the question, a disturbingly large number are advocating signing a dude who ate himself out of the NFL and gave up on life.
Gotta love the rant

Ate himself out of the NFL or smoked himself out Of college...... What's the fricking difference?
FTR I'd take Russell over Tm and MF.

Smoking weed doesn't necessarily make you a bad player. Showing up for camp 100 lbs overweight does, in fact, affect your playing ability.

Which one of these three guys is currently not on an NFL roster?
Do you think you know better than every NFL front office in the country?
