prove it? That's all I ask
Check his production out since last year's Bama game. And that's with 1.5+ years experienced starting with this team. Etling comes in with 0 experience in our system and has outplayed him. Not sure what more you need if you can't see how badly BH has regressed.

You asked, I proved it.

Anyone who thinks harris is better than etling knows nothing about football.

Comparing Etling to Fournette is beyond ignorant.

One is a rb the other a qb can't really compare. But both were ineffective because of the oline. Can't say 1 did bad because of the oline but the other gets a pass when he was equally ineffective.

Just because you sucked doesn't mean everybody did. Not gonna sit here and boast but you're wrong. If you even played at all which is doubtful just by reading your post.

Yes...Fournette definitely gets a pass. He didn't miss holes. Etling missed open receivers.

Fournette missed a huge cutback hole in the first half and etling had 3 real misses 2 were wrs running the wrong route he also made our biggest play 41 yards and hit a perfect pass on a deep corner route that Chark didn't drag his foot on that would've put us inside the 20.

Point is neither had enough protection to make plays. Only having 3/4 oppuntunities isn't nearly enough over the course of a football game. He was hit or hurried on 20 out of 25 drop backs. It's impossible to do anything like that. Did you see the Super Bowl? The NFL MVP looked like garbage and couldn't do anything because he was under pressure the whole game he's also the best running QB on earth so harris wouldn't have done anything either. So if he can't do anything with no blocking how do expect a college QB with 4 sec starts to?

That was the fourth miss....he had time. Chark was open early...he threw it late and out if bounds.

The only QB who would have made a difference was Tom Brady and I'm not sure he could overcome how badly the OL played and how Bama DB's abused our WR.
Etling lost his poise and heard footsteps all night (with good reason). Paper machete or tall grass would have slowed Bama's rush better than our OL.

If you think that's a miss and was on Etling and not Chark because danielson said he should've thrown it earlier it just proves you'll turn anything into an argument against Etling. Absurd and completely biased.

He did lead scoring drives against Jacksonville State, something BH didn't do.

Etling played as good of a game as he was capable of playing. However, the fact is that he missed some open receivers. Those missed shots was a huge reason drives stalled. Not bashing Etling. Not urging for BH to get the starting QB job back. Just believe that Etling is not the clear cut better QB just because he was decent in that stretch of the schedule.
