Lol then refer to the guy above.

If he was still at LSU he would've never been drafted. You can't just get drafted, go through training camp with an NFL team and come back to college.

The only way this hypothetical works is assuming last year was metts jr year

Since when do you make the rules in this hypothetical thread?

Well logically that is the only way it could work. But you can have whatever hypothetical you want. Go ahead and discuss an NFL qb coming back to college.

a&m would probably be salty if JFF was their qb this year

Bama would be legit with McCarron

Georgia would be really solid with Murray

LSU pry would have their work cut out for them

Just my opinion man. Harris hasn't played a down for us but he has the same canon mett had except with mobility. I like our chances with Harris versus bamas fat linebackers

If all of those QBs returned, the SEC would be staaaaaaaaaaaacked! Guaranteed NC coming from an SEC team. I think Georgia would be the favorite.

So, can we have Bert Jones back in his prime since common sense is out the window with these hypotheticals?

Hey man, you're entitled to your opinion. Even if it's wrong.

We're talking about current players. Bert Jones is 62, he would probably be in a wheelchair after one practice.

At 62, I bet you couldn't catch a pass from him without feeling like your hands were on fire.

I'm 6'4 250 with 9 inch working hands. Pretty sure I can handle a geriatric fastball.

Mett had three years of chemistry with Landry and Beckham. That was a huge part of his success and theirs.

Let him catch his breath. He's still winded from his last post.

Handed him the ball with the Georgia game on the line, and he didn't deliver.

Against Clemson, if he completes a long handoff we win. He didn't.

He single-handedly lost the Ole Miss game.

He failed at the end of last year's Arky game, and would have lost it, but Jarvis and AJ rescued him in extraordiary fashion.

I admire him, but I won't miss him. He was a tough kid who would stand tall and take licks; he had an NFL arm; and he put the Georgia low-character stuff in the past and proved to be a good representative. But he was immobile; had poor touch on deep balls; and he didn't deliver often enough in clutch times.

You can't be serious right now. Without Mett, UGA blows the fricking doors off of us.
