The OP has a point. Neighbor is a better fullback than Copeland. Copeland gets in the way more than helps most of the time. I been saying for two years that he is overrated.

Advantage LSU to have two fine FBs. We'll need both of 'em to get through a bruising schedule.

Stampley is gone, homey. He was the whiffer. Copeland lights people up.

I still want to see Copeland at middle linebacker. He'd be a damn nightmare to running backs!

That is an excellent suggestion. I think he would be an amazing MLB. Surprised coaches hadn't thought of that when their best option is 31. I don't know what skills he would be missing to keep him from being an outstanding MLB.

Yup, especially after the whistle has blown.

um cuz of the same reason you guys are saying he cant read when to block?????? not saying i agree but according to this thread.........
he cant so....

if he cant block people hes running straight at that need to hit him or close to him,,,..... then how is he supposed to go around people trying to block him or see lanes of blocking? by the same analysis he would run straight into egos butt

I told all the would-be coaches months ago how to deal with this problem. Copeland is a much more effective blocker when he is heads-up on his target...just check out the Big Cat drills...he needs to be blocking from the TE or HB position...problem solved! So if ya' care about LSU getting to the NC game, contact the coaching staff and put that bug in their ear...lol...lol...DUH!

highly, highly doubtful. maybe in a drill such as the big cat. but in a real game he would be lost like a fart in a hurricane.
