If you were an owner, would you put your investment of hundreds of millions of dollars in the hands of Miles???

I wouldn't trust him to deliver a pizza. He'd get lost.

If Saban is such a great coach, why did he fail in the NFL?

If Spurrier is such a great coach, why did he fail in the NFL?

Good/great college coach doesn't mean good/great NFL coach.

Since this forum is to discuss college football, I don't really care if Miles would be a good NFL coach.

When was the last time Les Miles answered a football/team/strategy question and gave an answer that made sense or that you enjoyed?

I always enjoy them, even though they rarely make sense! Fair point though...

Didn't Jerry Jones think about him before he hired Jason Garrett?

Because NFL coaches don't use phrases like "we have a want for victory" or the word "capable" in every sentence!
He should use this sentence instead, We have a want for a new Offensive Coord and then we could be very capable of winning every game every year!

Bill Belichick has a masterful grip on interviewing--I know it is an act

Spurrier is a wonderful off the cuff speaker

Saban and his "process" lectures play well

It really isn't about post game interviews (which I think it is more an act than his real persona) in the NFL. I think Miles actually has the right personality to know how to motivate and successfully communicate with NFL players.

In part because he and his agent haven't floated his name out there.

Milsenistas...too stupid to realize the failure of their coach on 1/9/12 is why they aren't calling

agreed.

But then again Saban didnt have the program the he built for Miles, and then get DESTROYED by that same guy who didnt do so well in the NFL.

do you ever think through your arguments first?
