If Miles is such a great coach, then why isn't the NFL calling?

Miles record is one of the best in NCAA. However, it can't be proven whether or not many other guys could have done the same thing, so no point in arguing it.
What do NFL teams see in other coaches that they don't see in Les Miles? Any other coach with that kind of NCAA record would have been rumored to be NFL bound at some point in their coaching career, yet everyone knows no NFL team would even consider letting him be the head coach of a team.

Miles best assets are recruiting and mentoring young players.

NFL coaches have way more media responsibilities and that is probably the area Les Miles sucks the most at.
When was the last time Les Miles answered a football/team/strategy question and gave an answer that made sense or that you enjoyed?

Miles would be a horrible NFL coach. I would be very surprised if he ever would even try the NFL or if he would ever be offered.

Our last guy got a lot of NFL attention and that turned out pretty shitty for LSU nation.
As long as Miles keeps winning ballgames, I don't give two shits what the NFL thinks of him.

That is changing drastically. After interviews with several team executives, it has become clear Miles has vaulted near the top of some lists as the next hottest NFL coaching candidate."

Despite all the shite talked about CLM, he actually still wants to be at LSU. With all the coaches anxious to jump to the next big thing, he is one that actually wants stability and to build something. It's the same reason he has said since day 1, he would prefer a longer contract than higher pay. He wants to be at LSU, it is a destination job to him. It's why he has passed on Michigan twice, and Arkansas with more money.

If he ran it like CEO, and allowed good coordinators to run their own side of the ball, he would do well.
However, he would probably frick up the offensive side there, too.

Because NFL coaches don't use phrases like "we have a want for victory" or the word "capable" in every sentence!
He should use this sentence instead, We have a want for a new Offensive Coord and then we could be very capable of winning every game every year!

There's been some interest in him as an NFL coach.
Also not every successful college coach is considered a fit in the NFL. Urban Meyer has never been pursued by the NFL, is he a bad coach?

And that is what I've heard repeatedly about Miles from team executives. Their belief is that Miles is, as one told me, the next Jimmy Johnson in terms of knowing how to coach the 21st-century player. Take that comparison as you like, but to me there's no bigger compliment since Johnson deftly handled a Cowboys locker room full of gigantic egos.

Good college coach =/= good NFL coach
and vice versa.
We all know Saban wasn't too good in the NFL and it wouldn't surprise me if bill belichick was mediocre in college.
