What will everyone currently bitching do? Still want him gone?

Just curious. I'm indifferent on Miles at the moment.

Depends on what the record is.

If we're 10-2 with losses to UF and Alabama (would be a miracle) - yes still bitching, and lots of it.

If we're 12-0, probably a lot less bitching.

And would you want him back or is there nothing he can do to win some fans back?

They'll say we would have won it in 2009 if Miles would've played the right players like Shep. Some people will always look at the negatives.

If LSU goes .500 against any decent competition again, can Les Miles be fired no questions asked?

There's absolutely nothing Miles can do to win some of these people back, IMO.

That's a possibility and I wouldn't necessary disagree with it.

But I think it's fair that he gets 2010.

The perception of CLM is soooooooo bad I doubt he will ever over come it here at LSU.

Anything less than a real shot at the NC next year or think its only a matter of time till he is gone. The fact that Crouton is still here makes me think it will speed CLM's exit next year. I thought he may have bought 2 years with a new OC but apparently thats not gonna happen.

Nothing would surprise me next year two losses or six but I dont see a NC run next year and thats the only thing that would change LSU fans perception of CLM IMO.

Well, 2010 is going to be a great opportunity for Miles. We replace 2 cupcakes with UNC and WVU, LSU gets Bama at home, the #1 and #2 QBs will be three years into the system.

I don't have a lot of faith in Miles, that's obvious, but if ever there was an opportunity to seize, 2010 is it.

He will have to win the SEC to convince me he should stay. If he only wins the West it would depend on who we defeat etc., i.e. the quality of the win. Maybe yes, maybe no.

Totally agree. While I want Miles to succeed, can't help but lose faith somewhat after the last two seasons, basically going .500 in the SEC. 2010 is a great opportunity for Miles and staff to regain some faith that has been lost in the fanbase.

There may be some people who really don't like Miles. Those people are hopeless and will never come around. Others, as myself who have lost faith somewhat would be thrilled to see Miles comeback and LSU win the West.

This year is all him. All NS recruits, gone. Experienced QB, coaching staff is all his, experienced. No reason for failure this year.

the majority on here would rather miles fail so they are right, then for them to succeed and miles stay. They would find something to whine about... ohh well why are they not running or passing more? why this? why that?

I think our problem is QB. We don't have the talent at that level to win the big games.

If we luck into it again like in 2007, everyone will be happy that we won, but no one can appreciate the way the offense is called.

If by majority you mean NONE, then you are correct.

Otherwise, name one poster on here that has stated he'd rather Miles fail than LSU succeed. Name one.
