And leaving it would move it a lot closer to the second best. And maybe make the SEC get some honest, non-biased officials.

Yeah, the SEC has really screwed LSU. We only have two NCs this decade. We should have one every year.

And how do you propose LSU make up all the lost revenue from this move? No conference comes close to SEC revenue.

The thrust of opinion seems to be that we lose a lot of money if we want to have competent, un biased officating.
That is not the only choice.
We can insist on reforming the league: Nothing short of the "De-Homerization" of the SEC will do, and all member schools will need to be involved. Mr. Slive, apparently, is unwilling to candidly address these issues, and should step down.
If that fails,we have a choice: money or integrity. I always that this thing was about fair play on the athletic fields...

I think it would work. Geographically LSU and Arkie have never really fit. The proximity to Texas would benefit both greatly.

The BIG 12 would up its rep, which it doesnt need but would really turn it up a notch. Arkie really would fit back in but all SEC teams should be east of the entrance of the MS River. Thats really what is considered the SE.

I would love to see FSU and Georgia Tech, who should be here, join. That creates a bigger rival for Georgia in the SEC East with GT and also have FSU in the west which is already a rival for Florida but move UF to the west and it would assume UA-AUB status because of being in the same conference and division.

SEC EAST
Georgia
Georgia Tech
USCeast
UT
Vandy
UK

SEC WEST
Bama
Auburn
FSU
State
Ole Missy
Florida

All in-state rivals are now same division.
Last week of season.
Bama-Aub
Florida-FSU
Georgia-Georgia Tech
Ole miss-State
UT-Vandy

Now that would be a great true rivalry weekend with possibly so much on the line. TV ratings for all games would be phenominal. 2 or 3 of those could be defacto national champ games even before the SEC Champ. game. with lots of bad blood and there is nothing like in-state rival games with co-workers, families divided, neighbors, etc.

I love the idea.
