It's ridiculous for people that hate miles and make a point stating, "we could have easily been 7-5 or 6-6".... Guess what, we weren't! So you have no argument.... I could easily say we could have went undefeated by you negatigers' rationale... If "if" was a fifth we'd all be drunk... What say you?

we need to dominate our opponents with the talent we have. When is the last time LSU had a game like Bama had against UF? We haven't given a good SEC team a beating in a while

This team was Chad Jone's fingertips away from imploding. If barely beating Moo St. is something you are good with then you are content with losing 2-3 SEC games each year and finishing in the middle of the pack. To sit there and act like "if" people don't have a leg to stand on is just plain ignorant.

If we were 8-8 in the SEC the last 2 seasons, Miles would need to improve.

I agree, people act like we have never squeaked by lesser opponents in the past. I'm not saying i'm 100% satisfied with the season. Yes, we could've played better, but sometimes you just have to be happy with a win.

usually takes a little luck.

However most good teams/players/businesses tend to make their own luck.

I think too much blame is being put on GC and not enough on JJ.
After 07 everyone thought the guy was a genious, now 2 yrs later hes forgotten how to coach? come on.

well its his job to make the qb better, i mean come on jj isnt to much better than he was a year ago. its thee qb coach wich is crowton i believe to make him better and know the offense better, to much confusion in the huddle ect. its either crowton or miles

true, but still a certian resposibility falls on the players shoulders.

JJ may be the smartest, football saviest guy to ever come through LSU, however his play often doesnt resemble it nor could you tell by listening to him give an interview.

Guy still needs a ton of work, his best game as a LSU qb was by far last yrs bowl game.

Well, what other option do they have in pushing their agenda?

They are pretty limited in what they can say bout a team that's 3rd in the SEC and 13th in the nation.

So, they talk what if, what big wins, last yr, we didn't play anyone this yr, JJ will not improve, JJ might be 19 but there is a 19 yr old QB somewhere better, and our 4 bowl wins are over trash teams.

Oh well, each to our own.

really? This is really the 1st season I've bitched about Miles because he's never struggled with teams like MSU, Troy, and La. Tech in the past.

UGA wasn't good this year, came down to the 4th quarter
UF dominated us for 60 minutes
La. Tech has us scared the whole game
MSU was inches away
Washington stayed with us
Arkansas--> was Ridley in bounds?
Vandy was a 1 score game in the 4th
We played to our competition this year and we have done it in almost every big game under Miles.

When is the last time we took a good SEC team to the woodshed (SECCG 2003?). UGA has done it to us twice under Miles, UF has done it to us once. Alabama did it to Florida this year, but now we are struggling with the average and below average teams of the SEC on a regular basis.

When have we done it?

I understand that when you play a good team, it is hard to wipe them of the field. We should at least be imposing our will against the MSU, Ark., Vandy, Washington, and La. Tech's on our schedule.

In everyone of our loses, the other team has completely imposed their will on us, and that is unacceptable. MSU did it as well, but we had the talent and luck to overcome it

the domination of other teams isnt there like it used to be and I think that is what troubles most LSU fans.
