Exactly. Nick Saban is such a good coach his fans treat 3-3 like 5-1. Our fans treat his 3-3 like 5-1 and bury a guy that outcoached Saban (who had a Heisman winner and finalist in the backfield) with a putrid offense.

They didn't "fight" that entire game. Why do it then?

Well, it was a two score game very deep into the 4th quarter. So even though the D had better games, they still were playing hard and a W would have been possible with any offense.

The offense was the big issue. Of course, handing the ball to the fullback on 3rd and 4 when he had 1 carry for 0 yards on the season did not help the situation either. It was unexpected though!

I would love to be creative but for anyone to think we are going to come out and completely change our scheme for bama and win is crazy. At this point we have to go with what we are good at. Running a few misdirection plays that we haven't seen is about as creative as I want to get.

Please adjust your sarcasm detector, good sir. Thank you. FTR I was using sarcasm to implicitly agree with your post.

I think most may be missing the point here. I think the OP is saying that LSU should use every possible weapon to win. If what you are doing isn't working, try something different, kinda like what Chief did on defense against Texas A&M. And it worked.

You're an f'ing moron. You obviously have no idea whats going on in the game. AND you obviously don't understand that the "same thing" miles and co keep doing over and over is win.... WIN. WHY the F would he change it....... WHY the F would he expect a different result than a W, when thats what his teams and gameplans get... Ws. That is all that matters... not entertaining your two-year old brain.

I haven't seen Brad WIng hold the ball for 7 seconds then run for 30 yards play yet. Maybe it will happen next saturday!

I know that is why I left out the sarcastic part. I just wanted to expound on my reasoning I am a proponent of improving the passing game and creativity i just think its too late for that now.

At least I would feel like Les learned something from the 1/9 game. I don't give a rat's arse if the cheerleaders suit up and play. Just don't leave any question that the team used every tool in their arsenal. Definition of Insanity: Doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result. If LSU does the same shite they've been doing for 4 years, Bama beats us by 21 again. That means LSU better learn how to run more than just 2 guys into pass patterns. LSU better learn how to run play action. LSU better learn how to throw over the top with one or two completions. LSU better stop running play action on 3rd and 1, and start handing the ball to one of our capable backs. If we do those things we can beat Bama handily! By the way IDGAF if you agree.

Funny way of saying that. That would be quite a rehabilitation from his post.

There's a difference between in game adjustments and completely changing your offense.

I'll take it!

Actually, Les had the great fake against Bama two years ago with Peterson.

And last year we went to a lot of option and it worked. So he has done things against Bama that we don't normally do a lot to get the W.

It just wasn't there for the biggest one in January. It stands out the most because it just happens to be the last time we faced them. Overall, our team has been extremely well prepared for Bama every time we have faced them except for the last one.

i'll agree with the fact that we lost 1/9 b/c of coaching.

but i think our shaky play this year has more to do with lack of execution and injuries than coaching. not absolving it completely but it gets more blame than it deserves this year.
