At least I would feel like Les learned something from the 1/9 game. I don't give a rat's arse if the cheerleaders suit up and play. Just don't leave any question that the team used every tool in their arsenal.

If LSU does the same shite they've been doing for 4 years, Bama beats us by 21 again.

That means LSU better learn how to run more than just 2 guys into pass patterns. LSU better learn how to run play action. LSU better learn how to throw over the top with one or two completions. LSU better stop running play action on 3rd and 1, and start handing the ball to one of our capable backs.

If we do those things we can beat Bama handily!

By the way IDGAF if you agree.

Food for thought. Take Jones, Warmack and Fluker off of Bama's o line. Are they still #1? I don't think so. Not making excuses, but we lost three starters on our line and one of the ones that is still there that started is his first year as a starter, L Collins. The other was Wiliford and he played some last year and the year before I believe.

Headline in The Advocate on Nov. 4: Tigers lose, 56-6 but fans are happy because LSU threw the ball 63 times all over the field. Subheadline: LSU coaches at least tried to win the game.

Aren't we winning 40% of those, yet you guarantee a 21 point loss.

Wasn't this the 1998 LSU football team?

You all deserve for Gerry Dinardo and Lou Tepper to come back.

The notion that we have to be creative to have a quality offense is getting old.

Plenty of teams do very well by simply executing well and playing fundamentally sound football.

Alabama is certainly one of those teams this year. A very good play-action passing game, but not "creative."

Hoping for a creative offense and trick plays....full of sound and fury signifying nothing.

Frankly, I think everyone has taken this opportunity to misinterpret and crap on the poster.

If I read it right, the meaning is simply this:

He'd rather lose by 50 pts to Al trying to score, than revert to 1-9-12 and SURRENDER again.

Personally, I want to see us use / try to use all of our weapons, whatever they are.

What we did on 1-9-12 was shameful, not because we lost, because our HC surrendered....for whatever reason...that's another issue.

In watching LSU for 5o years of football, I had never seen an LSU team or coach surrender before 1-9-12

Bama's first touchdown against Doolander was three verts and UT busted the coverage. Nothing creative about that.

This is why you don't coach football.

Yeah, I can see it now. Everybody clad in purple sitting around Walk Ons saying, "Yeah, Saban beat us by 50, but darn we were CREATIVE!"

Nicky's attempt at being creative resulted in the attempted halfback pass that was picked off by Reid at the goal line, this after bama had run the ball down the field. He was ripped big time by tide fans for that game planning. It did not work due to "execution": sound familar??? And as for CLM quitting, from everything I've heard bout him as a coach, he's competitive as hell, so I rather doubt he quit on the team. A major case of the stupids or a mind fart, yes, perhaps. But he did not quit. He had a chance to quit on the team in the Jacob Hester Fla game, on 5 different occasions, but chose to go for the win each time. And ended up winning the game.
