or against Auburn in 2006:

See from :55 - 1:30

A thing of beauty. It was a pick but not really a pick, just beautifully executed:

I wish we had made a tackle or guarded a receiver

Wasn't that the game that caused Ara Parseghian to say he would never bring another Notre Dame team to Tiger Stadium?

I've always heard Bert Jones had on of the strongest arms of any QB....ever.

Before my time though.

I've missed very few games in Tiger Stadium since the late 60s and this one is still my favorite of all time.

Double moves aren't wizardry to cornerbacks anymore.

Passing defenses (from a sophistication standpoint) today are light years ahead of where they were back then...and the athletes on defense today are light year ahead of where they were back then.

It's not really comparable.

Yes let's compliment our 1970's offense with a play from the 1970's.

What a novel concept that is.

It's called "Execution". Simple plays run very well. There has been a dearth of that over the last 5 years.

**Also, did you notice the reaction of the D players after the goal line stop? Priceless. My - how things have changed.

PS: I was at the game.

It was great, there's too much anger nowadays, not enough fun.

So, it is your opinion that LSU's offense had been too complicated?
