Yep.

One of their stock answers they pull out when everything else fails.

The new go-to is we will never beat Alabama, no matter who is coach, so we just need to be happy.

Yeah, once again, why is it that if we fire our coach, we are automatically going to slump back to the Archer days.? Hire the right fricking coach. We are LSU and we have the cash. Get you a proven coaching staff. Top to bottom.

the sunshine pumping retards forget that Miles didnt have an amazing record at okie state, and there are actually coaches RIGHT NOW at other schools, who DO have amazing records.

Subjective titles that the coache have very little control over. Saban lost in nov for the last two years but media bias has kept him in both games. The only title the coaches control is the sec title.
Also, EVERY coach and program falls short when compared to bama and Saban so stop comparing Miles to Saban

"Miles isn't Saban...so let's get someone else who won't compare to Saban's body of work at Alabama, either."

funny thing is i just threw that stat out but none of us expect for any LSU coach to do that. we do expect to win a sec title every 3 years though. that is not impossible. but most do not even want that or to strive for that. sad indeed.

Hey the only records that are allowed to be thrown out around here are 80% and 10-10 against top ten teams and of course most wins by an LSU coach

Yeah, I'm still waiting on the reply to my answer to the question of who has a better record against top ten teams. The answer is Larry Coker, who went 8-5.

It should be good. Pumpers hate the Miles - Coker comparison.

People that say this are limited in intelligence

LSUs problem in the 90s was purely and simply a checkbook issue. That is not currently an issue.

If you want Top 5 money, you better give Top 5 results

Hire the right fricking coach.

I too would like to see what options are out there, but the downside in a state that's looking to slash budgets at universities will be one of getting back some money.

We didn't think we were going to end up with Archer and DiNardo before we did. The people making those decisions enter in many factors including money and some things they desire that has nothing to do with the product on the field. That's the problem.

You may identify, in the comfort of your own home, the coach you desire, but it doesn't mean that's who they will hire. The process in LA can get very political. I don't believe these guys will hire the next guy that you think can "beat Nick Saban".

Having lived here in Atlanta for the last 15 years, they've hired Jim Mora, Jr., Bobby Petrino, and Mike Smith without much consideration guys like Harbaugh or Mike Singletary (who drafted many of the core players on that team), etc. The word was the GM asked Arthur Blank would he rather hire a coach or a "king".

Alabama when given the opportunity went after a "King", and LSU's Bertman hired a very solid Head Coach while understanding the importance of championships, but would LSU do that today? In the case of the Falcon's hiring Jim Mora, Jr., the guy with the neatest powerpoint presentation won. And Bobby Petrino was a reaction to that bad hire when the truth was they would have been better off with the guy that actually got them to a Super Bowl.

Im sorry frick face, I'm not impressed with "facts" that include beating up on LA school for the deaf. Who have we beaten this year??? Other than Auburn ( and if we played them today, they would pound us) who have we beaten?

This could be the dumbest shite I've read all day. Lsu dominated auburn. It was 21-0 before lsu even had a 3rd down. Get a clue.
Lsu just set the record for OOC wins in a row. Likes has blowout wins against Miami( when they were good), Notre dame, Oregon , west va( twice), va tech , ohio state,TCU,Washington and more. But yeah blast Miles for losing to inferior teams every year when the best coach in al of cfb ( Saban) with the best talent(#1 in recruiting4/5 years) does the same thing.

Yeah. Reining conference champs huh? Ohhhhhhh. While an SEC championship was nice but could have been so much more. Don't forget the way he played that once JJ was re-instated as well as that abortion of a game he decided to just have a complete brain fart during and made no attempt to do anything.

Our oline played like garbage. You wanted to see a far less mobile Lee in the game?maybe lee would've improved on his 1yd -8int stats against bama.

quote:

frick do you keep saying that Miles Is the most winning coach blah blah blah. Alabama wants perfection and they went out and got it. Them nor Saban will accept nothing less. I have no problem loosing,

EVERY SINGLE YEAR OF HIS CAREER( except one) SABAN HAS LOST TO AN INFERIOR TEAM. THIS IS A FACT.

Wait, you think BCs title aren't subjective? You get VOTED into them. Ask auburn in 2004, OSU in 2011, michigan in 08, Uga 2007 how much control they had. You're dumb.
