Just hope it is not same defense that showed up against Alabama, Ole Miss, Washington, Georgia, Mississippi State, or even first half against LA Tech....

If you've paid any attention, you would know that the offense has been the cause of our problems.

*LA Tech scored one TD in the first half
*Washington scored a TD with 0:00 left on the clock, so let's not get carried away
*UGA scored two TD's
*Bama Scored two TD's

A team's win loss record is a much better indication of how good a team is than any statistics. The point is to win, so if a team wins then that's all that matters. Our losses to UF and UA were very close, and the loss to UM was ridiculous. Don't imagine that LSU isn't a good team. Not to mention that Miles finds a way come up big in bowl games.

Washington 478 Total Yards Offense
Mississippi State 374 Total Yards Offense
Alabama 452 Total Yards Offense
LA Tech 322 Total Yards offense... 250 at Halftime
Ole Miss 426 Yards Offense
Arkansas 375 Yards Offense

Arkansas 16
Alabama 40
Mississippi 42
Mississippi State 64
Louisiana Tech 66
Washington 66

Although LSU did hold the #12 Florida to only 327 of total offense

We wont get into the LSU offensive numbers because well they have been discussed enough on this site. Although the defense has not been as great as people would care to believe. Better than last year but anything has been better than last year.

We don't have great stats but we win big games unlike you idiots. And under Les Miles, LSU is 4-0 in bowl games. Penn State ain't any good either you have no big wins. And you lost to an overrated Iowa team. I like LSU to win in a blowout. Les Miles does good when his team gets a month off.

If we played year round, 1 game per month, I'd like Les Miles as HC a lot more.

Should be a fun game to watch. Honestly, I thought we would get waxed last year by Ga Tech.

LSU seems to have a different level of intensity for bowl games.

Our defense was HORRENDOUS lsst year and we gave up 3 points to Ga Tech.

More time for prep will only serve to improve our QB's play...hopefully.

Just think for yourself, we are 106th in the country and still won 9 games and if our bone-head coach could manage the clock, we would have won 10.

Tell your brother who thinks "LSU isn't good anymore" that we were and are faster than Ohio State by a mile...what does that portend for PSU?

DinardoEraGrad - I am far from being 12, a little more than two decades actually. I don't pay much attention to SEC football, although this job assignment in Mississippi has made me look at it more closely for the past few weeks.

Well, if my wanted purpose is to stir the pot, then I will. LSU will have no chance. That 106th offense will not be able to match drives with us. Your mediocre defense will make some stops, but not nearly enough. Go ahead and get used to the name Royster. Your undersized defensive line will be watching him run by all day.

Guy, I gotta be honest. I'm usually too drunk to count past 10. I couldn't tell you what the numbers look like.

A short and casual search through some of our postings here will show you more than you care to know about frustrations with our offensive performances. We have talent and speed but have not met expectation in most games. The SEC does have defensive strength which contributed to our shortcomings; nevertheless, we clearly underperformed. Some blame the OC (a change is to be made), some blame the line, some say it is because of a young inexperienced qb (the one game he did not start added to your stats). To be sure, we are hurting from the loss of key running backs.

It is impossible to conclude how the competition from one conference measures up against another. Bowl games may give some indication. There are a lot of SEC teams bowl eligible. You may have noticed that the two ACC teams playing for conference championship tomorrow were beaten last week by mediocre teams in the SEC. Not sure exactly what that means given the relative weakness of the ACC.

LSU started the year with a new defensive coordinator. They have improved each week. We do not have the typical LSU massive line as in some years. Our linebackers have improved, but probably not the caliber of Penn State's reputation of lb's. Our safeties and db's will knock lights out.

I suppose you could conclude that statistically we may not have a chance. You will find out, however, that we have a "damn good team." We "have a want to win." We will "give ourselves the opportunity to win."

Good luck to the nitany lions.

I'm gonna serve this up with some humble pie a little later. You aren't the first dick to come here and do this. You likely won't be the last either.

I am sitting here looking through these statistics and I am wondering how you guys are 9-3?

How many top 25 teams did you play this year? 1

How many top 5 teams did you play this year? 0

What conference do you play in? The Big 10

It's easy to pad some stats when you play the likes of: Akron, Temple and Eastern Illinois.

Pack up your shite and come on down here. Bring some extra Depends for your coach.

I put that one on LSU fans... he came with a question and LSU fans decided to well be dicks... They do not watch Big 10 and all they know is it is not SEC so therefore it can not be any good.

No, Your not stirring up. I thought it was a legit question about a team that you guys dont really ever have to worry about. I dont know anything about PSU, other yall have a really good qb and usually a big white beast of a linebacker. Should be fun and a game I hadnt expected to ever see. I hope the extra practice helps alot. the inexperience on our offense is in key positions and this month to fine tune and get comfortable with a game plan is gonna really make our team tough. Not to mention the speed factor that you will hear about for the next month.

I watch the Big Ten Network all the time. I get cold sweats every time I see big head Dinardo.
