I sure hope LSU is better than the stats show

My brother and I are looking through the statistics on Rivals.com, and I must say that LSU is rather poor in every category. I have not followed LSU much, but when I heard the matchup was versus you guys. my gut reaction was "uh oh".
That was until my brother said LSU is not very good anymore. I am sitting here looking through these statistics and I am wondering how you guys are 9-3?
I hope for a close contest, but I am thinking your offense won't be able to do much. Correct me if I am reading this wrong, but you guys have the 106th offense in the country???

Go look at our last seven bowl games or so, look at those stats and get back to us on what your synopsis may be....

This is what scares me. It hints its not just a slump or reloading year. This is where we are on national level.
If you want to check stats, check our bowl stats for the last 4-5 years. This is a different team during bowl season. The stats you read now dont hold a candle to the team you will see on the 1st.

our offense typically looks good for 2 or 3 drives and we manage to get points out of those...so I would call it "opportunistic" (in addition to "shitty"). You will learn very quickly that we all hate our offensive coordinator and he is possibly out of a job after the bowl game. Our D is good but not great
The thing that won't show up in stats is how we are getting a ton of hidden yards by people not kicking off to Trindon, Trindon killing it on punt returns, and generally winning the field position battle when it matters. that has really helped us get to 9 wins, although people don't talk about it much

We suck....you guys will roll us...we have NO speed...our Coach is horrible in preparing teams for bowl games and Joe Pa is the greatest coach ever....
Damn....wish we just didn't have to play PSU.....why!!!

You are right on. We are the most pathetic football team ever put together, and we don't stand a chance against the mighty Nittany Lions. No need to prepare for the game. Please tell Joe Pa (or whatever the old man goes by) to just have his team meet him in Orlando the day of the game. As long as you show up, you'll win. We're terrible in bowls.

The greatness of LSU fans... forget that fact that a Penn State fan showed up and asked a legitimate question he didn't not know. The fact that he looked at the stats first and he is wondering what the fan base says... lets all make LSU proud and be the biggest asses we can be.

I am not here as a pot stirrer, but I must say that LSU's offensive stats are awful for a superpower. And don't be too worried about how you guys are viewed in the nation. Most Ohio State fans still shiver at the mention of LSU.
