If we do play them tough then get worn down in the 4th qtr then O had the team ready and I call that a win for the team. That means we will get them either next year or 2019 when our 2 big OL come on down to go with the freshmen bruisers that will be juniors.

All we need is Etling to get some time to throw, Guice or Williams to break one, and a couple of trick plays to work. Ready for a pass from Guice? If we can put up 17-20 points that just may be enough.

I know one thing, Mr Long will pick LSU to beat Bama!

We loss to Troy. How epic was that? And Troy hasn't owned college football for the last five years.

Some of you guys are delusional.

it just seems to me that it's about mentality. bama just does whatever it takes to beat lsu but in contrast, lsu has folded mentally.

talent is not the issue, scheme is not the issue. plenty of superior college teams lose every weekend. lsu is absolutely close enough in talent/scheme to win. if the tigers can execute well enough for the first 3 quarters to keep it close, it causes doubt to creep in and then it's an issue of will. the tigers have to make bama's 20 year olds crack under the pressure, which is obviously much easier said than done.

After thinking about it I believe the Jet sweep is the perfect anecdote to that defensive front. Alabama relies more on strength than speed in their front seven. If we can stretch that defense like Gumby maybe, just maybe the inside will be opened up for us to run a little more. I actually like the blocking on the perimeter as well. We have some big receivers, JD Moore and Foster Moreau that can get the job done. I know it seems gimmicky, but I'm curious to see how Alabama handles it.

If we don’t turn the ball over, it will be close.

this has absolutely no bearing on the game this weekend. if you think that, then you aren't watching college football. these are 20 year old kids. they do stupid stuff and lose games every weekend, every season. even bama loses games.
