for his sake I hope he doesn't struggle next season. Some of you people have such expectations for these kids its almost unreal.
I suppose if he does struggle yall can jump to the next true freshman.

As of now and reading many of these posts about QB play, some of really believe there's not a chance JJ will struggle, and there's also not a chance JL can improve. Either some of you are actually that stupid or really smart... crystal ball smart. Hopefully JJ and JL alike have better things to do than listen or read what some fuking no-it-all geeks on a message board have to say about them.

Im excited about this qb competition this spring, as we all should be.... Let me share one little piece of info with some of you... as much as you think you want LSU to win games and as much about football you think may know, it pales in comparison to the knowledge these coaches have and the desire they have to be successful.

Last I checked nobody here gets paid for being a fan, These guys make a lot of money, whoever is best will play. PERIOD. Only time will tell.

Have you seen what people are saying about Shep? I'd much rather be in JJ shoes than Shep.

From what we have seen thus far, JJ is improving and played a hell of a game on the road against a top 15 team. Lee on the other hand did not progress and actually got worse. He struggled against good and bad competition alike.

Of course anything can happen, but right now, today, LSU fans have every reason to be excited about JJ and down on Lee.

I don't feel sorry for him with those regards. Most people realize that as a sophomore there will be times he makes mistakes and may struggle a bit. Most people will expect that and hope that he shows improvements and doesn't make the same dumb mistakes time after time. I think that is where J. Lee caught the wrath. We expected him to struggle but 7 pick sixes, screen passes into the stands, no leadership shown on the field or sidelines, no improvement shown against mediocre teams it just led to frustration from tiger nation. What i do worry about for JJ if he throws a pick or struggles reading a d like J lee, he'll all of a sudden will become dumb, unable to read sec defenses, rumors of failing out of school, not being accurate, not knowing the full playbook,,,,,you know like when JR and RP was here.

There isn't any reason to not believe in Jordan's abilities from what he has shown. No one is really going overboard here expecting 9 or 10 wins next year. Matt Mauck as a sophomore started out 6-1 before getting hurt. JaMarcus Russell as a sophomore led us to an 11-2 record in 2005 in the face of a horrible natural disaster along with the help of another sophomore Matt Flynn. With a solid defense once again, Jefferson should do just fine and lead us to many wins

I love these "Im so righteous" posts where some newbie starts off his career on the RANT chastizing everyone for being stupid, too critical, etc... We need to create a NICE board for all these people to go to where posters can only make nice, optimistic, and non-offensive comments.

'Course Jefferson's gonna have ups and downs next season. Colt McCoy did his first full season. So did Matt Stafford, Jamarcus Russell and on and on. Not everyone can be Tim Tebow and be Superman from the first snap. Most QBs aren't. I won't sweat it as long as he's better at the end of the season than he is at the beginning. And I think that he and his teammates are plenty good enough to win 9 or 10 games next year, so it's all good. Just my 2 cents' worth.

I'd like to be the starting QB for LSU.

God, what I'd do to the cheerleaders and golden girls...

I believe most of us understand JJ will struggle a little and will have a few bad games, but I think the main thing we like about him is his attitude, he seems to understand what it takes to be a leader, and he understands the QB position. He takes a sack when needed, runs the ball when no one is open, and can hit open receivers on the run. If he continues his work ethic, he will be a very successful QB.

Plus after seeing all of those pick 6s, it was great to see a QB who could take care of the ball very well. Don't get me wrong, I hope Lee improves dramatically, but right now Jefferson is the man.

Thats what I love about this argument. The blind leading the blind. JJ had a good game, but in one half I saw 2 dropped picks, and 2 fumbles that should have been TDs for the other teams (one in our own end zone)

But we've conveniently forgotten that because he won.

Yet even the games Lee won, he gets nailed for ints.

I rather just have a board where you had to have played organized sports once in your pathetic life to talk about a kid playing at the Div-1 level.

Most tards on here would break their neck walking up the front steps at home.
