How are you supposed to KNOW for a fact that it's always the same people? I for sure don't keep track of everyone around me every game and make notes on who is where. Real estate is at a premium on game day, early birds get the worm.

We know because we talk to people and socialize. There are 3 tailgates near ours and we all help out with saving spots and stuff. When you are in the same spot for a while that is completely normal.

So how many games do you tailgate a year? If you are there more than one game a year it's obvious. And like previously stated if you were in the spot my group normally tailgates i wouldn't be mad i was just curious.

Then you shouldn't have to worry if you have people out there saving spots. If none of you are out there and someone sets up and you get mad at them for being in your perceived spot then you are the douche. I thought this was common tailgating knowledge? Get there early to get the spot you want or don't bitch.

Not really obvious considering that where I tailgate, no one has assigned tailgate spots. I do see some of the same people when I do go. Sometimes they are right next to me and sometimes they are not.

Not at all. We dont lose our spot and even if we did I wouldnt say anything. Just dont act like you dont know who tailgates where if you always set up in the same area even if it isnt the exact spot every time.

the latest i've been since 95 was the UF game in 03 when i got there at noon bc my wife's mom got re-married that morning. but my whole krewe was out there. i can't stand not being there.
otherwise i've never been later than 8 and usually get there around 7 these days. (used to be earlier before wife and kids)
only tailgate i've missed since 99 was tulane 08 which was the day one of my kids was born.

Yeah, and I dont bitch bc we dont lose our spot. But if you know people tailgate in that area then dont be a dick and take it just bc you "got there first". Courtesy works both ways

Dont read much do you? I have only 3 people around us with spots who have been there a while. So no, Im not in their business, but we chat throughout the day

When I tell you that in the 5 games I tailgated last season, I never had the same people next to me. How am I supposed to keep tabs on who's around me when it changes from week-to-week?
