He clearly did it to get a rise out of the readers. Plus, what else can you really talk about right now? The bowl game information is boring as hell now & recruiting is in it's dead period.

I'd still say that LSU should never and will never leave the SEC. But, I do believe the head office gives us the finger on many issues.

I don't think like a rantard, so forgive me if I don't see the "obvious."

No "hard evidence" as to the theory of the CB being pressured by Slive, but more than one national talking head covering the SEC was quoted as saying this is exactly what happened. The other side to it was that the aggies were not thrilled, either, as they were 1) tired of the Big 12 connection playing OU would present, and 2) they wanted the recruiting exposure in Fla. In addition to the national reporters, all the locals here were saying the same thing that wk. Where there is that much smoke, there has to be a fire somewhere.

I agree with dandan, our AD sucks. I wish he would grow a set of balls & stand up for the Tigers. If not we need a change!!! LSU is a solid main stay in the SEC, & would be crazy to leave.

I don't even know how to respond to that.

I would never suggest LSU leave the SEC. But there is evidence the SEC will bend over backwards to satisfy the demands of certain schools, and LSU isn't one of them. Just because leaving the conference isn't a realistic option it doesn't mean some of the issues aren't real.

I don't "hate" any SEC team.

That doesn't mean I can't look at our east schedule and Bama's east schedule and note that playing Kentucky, Tennessee, and and Missouri these 2 yrs is a damn sight easier than playing Florida, UCS, and Ga in order to get to the SECCG.

It is what it is, but I can't blame any reasonable LSU fan for looking at this special 2 yr schedule and saying what the frick???

Doesn't mean leaving the SEC is the answer, just means I sure can look to the SEC office and ask them what in the hell were they thinking with this BS advantage they threw to Bama to get to the SECCG.
