They are not wearing beads to "show off", they are wearing beads so females passing by might "show off" something to get a bead from them.

I disagree. The Mardi Gras beads are seen as indigenous to Louisiana and associated, by outsiders, in a very favorable way with LSU. It reinforces that "let the good times roll" perception that people have about LSU fans. The same cannot be said for people wearing them at NASCAR events.

So you want to hurt the fun, entertaing image we have? I'm all for the beads.

And what do you think they are going to "show off" in Omaha? Do you think our older female fans are participating in this as well.

I don't mind the beads. Much better than all of the punks with their shirts off and those stupid looking pimp hats.

I hate people that can't make an ESPN sign that uses ESPN as the first letters of each word. When people do that crossword BS to try and fit ESPN on the sign, i just think they are uncreative. Especially when they have to add a few words to it.

I'm not a fan of the beads, but I'm much less a fan of fans wearing steer horns and over sized cowboy hats to games.
