Daniels threw for 180 yds in the first half of the UT game. He threw for 300 yds with 71% completion and ZERO interceptions. Did he miss some receivers , yes. Did he throw behind some receivers, yes. But he had no blocking. No running game. Bad play calling and no defense. JD was not the problem saturday. he is the QB they need this year. I do think Nuss or Howard should get some playing time. But other than that I expect next year to be even better and the year after that maybe competing for a championship.

OL was complete garbage. The fact that people think Brennan could even set his damn feet for more than a second with that OL is baffling.

Maybe that's why he stepped away?

You his agent? Tell it to the NFL scouts, and help him toward his dream.
I hope they buy it.

Its all the receivers fault. Yeah!

This is bad enough however, when you don't trust yourself, it's a real issue.

Your opinion is noted, Mrs. Daniels.

Lost for words. Why would any qb want to come and play for LSU. He has his flaws and things he can improve on but so does our offensive line and our receivers. Etc

If only Daniels showed some flashes of brilliance on the field half as often as some of you play your race cards.

The man has no "touch" when it comes to throwing to his receivers. He throws short uncatchable bullets a large percentage of the time, particularly in cases where it's totally unnecessary to prevent the opponent from intercepting. Daniels just cannot seem to dial in accurate passes in general. He consistently makes poor choices, has no vision of the total field, and just doesn't have it as an SEC quarterback. Daniels does not appear to be a leader, either.

I guess it's just easier for all of the idiots on the board to think that everything boils down to race, rather than a damned near complete lack of intangible talent. It's their crutch, they grasp it proudly, and someone will have to pry it from their cold dead fingers.

go look at the highlights someone posted of Myles Brennan in 2020. Then come back and tell me which of those throws JD5 makes. My conclusion is none of them. This guy is a mess at QB. The fact that he cannot play puts undue pressure on the rest of the offense. This is the reason QB is the most important position on offense. Outside of his effort, he has no qualities that I look for in a QB.

Oh, and I agree that the receiver "corps" is the most overrated group in the team. They should be ashamed.

I wish fans would quit stating that other fans" hate JD" if they are talking bad about his playing ability. That is one of the most ridiculous and weak comments on this board.

Fans will talk negative about "any" QB that is playing this horribly. Its not totally JD's fault but a lot of it is his fault.

Quit using the excuse that he is a " great guy' WTF??

I rather have an azzhole QB who is lighting it up with our receivers. Who cares if he is a nice guy.

I agree that being unhappy/disappointed in his performance and talking about it is not hate, but people under 40 have such limited vocabularies that that type of idiocy is unavoidable.

The entire offense sucks. Anyone who blames it on a single player also sucks. Personally, I think it all starts with the OL.

It's not all on Daniels. Some of it is, not all.

First of he has no running game to help him, he's not good enough to have no running game. I don't know if its our OL or what, but it seems to me the coaches can come up with more than 1 running play.

WRs are inconsistent. They drop easy catches too much.

And Daniels is too scared to make some throws. He'd rather run it.

No one can have confidence or get into a rhythm with that shite at QB. You are totally shocked if a ball is thrown and damn sure if it is near catchable.

Well we can barely run the ball so we had 45 passing attempts and completed 71% so over 70% were catchable.

I don’t recall any crazy one handed grabs but I remember a few drops.

Daniels is completing nearly 70% of his passes on the season as well.

So your excuse for the receivers doesn’t hold weight

It's much easier and palatable for us to make blame casting simple. If we can confine it to one player, then that makes it an easy fix.

No one wants to hear that this team has multiple problems, and QB is not the biggest of them, even though that's the reality. That destroys this dream a lot of fans had of competing for the SEC title.
