Well, LSU might be beat up by the time we play A&M. Gotta remember, guys, that we're susceptible to all the injuries that everyone else is.

Also, while I'm hoping our offense will be better, that's a HUGE unknown. How much control will Les give Cam? How much will Mett progress? How will we be w/o Jeremy Hill? Will Leslie and Dural be as good as advertised? A lot of uncertainty there.

We have depth that only a few other teams can match; aggie is not one of them. I love that this game is toward the end of the season.

It's the SEC, anything can happen on any given Saturday.

Unfortunately I have a feeling Bama will beat them by +21 points. To much talent. I will still pull for Texas A&M though. I can't pull for Bama ever. Just to much hate there.

I won't root for either. But I would prefer A TAM win cause we will have an easier time beating them than Bama.

Both Texas A&M and Alabama will be a huge struggle for us. Even if we lost to them, and beat Arky and Auburn, it would be a good season.

No chance. The Bama defense will be hyperventilating on the sidelines after chasing JFF around in that September Texas heat. A&M by 2 TDs

I disagree. I wouldn't consider 10-2 a disappointment as long as the losses don't come to both Bama and A&M. Finishing 3rd in the West is not a good season IMO

I will root for A&M. I'm not too worried about A&M. I think we should beat them. We just need Alabama to drop at least one game.

I think we are gonna be better.... A lot better! But if that is true, we are gonna have some Crystal at the end of the season, instead of having one of our fans get "tea bagged" at Krystals....

They seemed ok when they were chasing down JJ.

A&M doesnt run a gimmick. The gimmick offenses (tx tech) for example had to play a system, call it gimmick if you wish - but they did so because they could not physically match up, especially at OL. So they found a way to spread everyone out. They never had a running qb = but they lead nation every year in passing. This started at Kentucky. Leach at Tech.

Sumlin uses a version of the spread but has NFL guys everywhere. It changes the game a little.
The fact that JFF scrambles when a play brakes down doesn't mean it is a gimmick.

Its about A&Ms D. If there is young talent that steps up and plays hard - Ags could make some noise. If not - they have big big trouble. Luckily for them first game isn't Florida again.

shite - Had they gotten Florida any time other than Johnnys first game - The unthinkable could have happened.

Nope. I've watched all three games between TAMU and LSU, Bama, and Florida. Every game they start out the game hot then mid way through the 2nd quarter, their offense is figured out and for the most part contained. The only reason Bama lost is because they got behind by a lot of points and didn't adjust til it was too late. A good defense will adjust and contain Maniel/Sumlin's offense. If Florida and LSU had good QB and WR play, you're looking at lopsided games and nowhere near the hype their getting.

The LSU game the week before had a lot to do with. The Bama players looked noticeably winded the week after. It is the most physical game they play every year. Plus A&M had really physical linemen last year. So it was a compounding effect
