I believe aTm is good enough to realistically beat anyone in the country.

That's because Alabama is Texas A&M's bitch.

Down 9-0, we went no huddle, got 3 first downs in a row I think and 1st and 10, Mett sends the first of many passes over our receivers heads. Good QB's complete these passes. If we are to improve our passing, we need to hit more passes between 15-25 yards and we need to attempt more 25+ yard plays to keep the defenses off our effective ground game.

LSU has at least 6 games that we are beatable in. Might win them all, might split, who knows.

this level of rational thought is rarely seen on this forum. we face, argurably, the toughest schedule in the toughest division in the toughest conference in college football with a still unproven qb and dline with more promise than experience and yet we still have board prognosticators stating that we will finish 12-0. the "wow" factor with LSU fans never ceases to amaze me.

get better.

Are you saying it can't happen?

Are any of those games unwinnable? What's wrong with a little optimism?

Why do some people think the only rational predictions are those that have us losing multiple games?

None of the teams on the schedule have any real shot at beating us.

remember our defense lost 6 starters. The best chance of losing a home game will be against Florida. Hopefully by the end of the year the D will be seasoned and we can contain (Johnny football) again

I think LSU will move the ball well vs. A&M. A big variable is the fresh DTs A&M got. If any can step in it could help somewhat - but vs. LSU OL even if they play well LSU moves the Ball.

What worries me is that LSU had the baddest fastest DL maybe ever last year. We are reloading but I will have to see in first few games how they play. It seemed last year that A&M was either shut down like LSU/FLA, or JFF ran wild. Not much in between. The new Left OT for A&M will be a top 5-10 pick and another OL may leave early. Their OL will be one of the best.

I just hope we don't have open lanes. If A&M gets open lanes they almost cant be stopped. We would have to just outscore them.

But if our D reloads as usual - no problem.

I agree, but it's way too early to give serious analysis to any game in November.
