Agreed. When Arkansas beat Fullerton, it sets us up perfectly to make a run as long as we win tomorrow night.

The only other team I could see us having a hard time based on what I have seen is Arizona State.

We MUST win tomorrow. That is the only game I am concerned of as of now. Arkansas is playing very well and making good contact on the ball. If we win tomorrow, then I will start looking ahead. But, until then....

The 6 post Arkansas fans are back for the game tomorrow. Good thing I'll be at the game so I won't have to read all their crap.

Frankly, I have to say that whichever of our teams wins tonight has got to be considered the favorite the rest of the way. Sure ASU is good, and I think that they come in a very close 3rd, but our teams just have it right now. Swagger is powerful.

Other random comments:

LSU deserved a #1 seed. SEC > Little XII

Arkansas does not deserve the sh!t ESPN is giving us. They need to get over this Petrino thing already.

SEC: 2-0
ACC: 0-2

Lets take it one game at a time.. Arkansas stump us in their first game so I hope they don't do it again... I am not looking forward to watching a Wednesday game...

flatfoot sure aint a fricking homer or anything.

arky is clearly the better team than LSU. They beat us 2 out of 3, won the sec reg season, won the sec tourny, hosted a a regional and are ranked as the number 3 national seed. So no doubt they are better than us.

oh wait all that is what LSU did and not arky. Arky is hot but to say yall are favorites over LSU is just a homer pile of shite. Nothing wrong with thinking you will win but saying yall are the best team in omaha

ASU beat UNC in 10 innings, they can't be that much different in their caliber. Maybe I'm off on that, but thats just my theory.

while ASU sure is good.. UNCs starter alex white held them to 1 run through 9 innings! Is this UNC starter really that good to shut down this prolific ASU batting order?

Conversely, ASU's guy shut down UNC to 1 run through 9 or so as well. Are these two pitchers really that dominant?

Well they both were drafted in the top 15 of the MLB draft last week, so yes.

ah, thanks... didn't see that. Wow UNC is loaded with the #2 overall pick and a top 15 pitcher. Hope we don't run into him

but, they still lost haha.

heartbreakTiger has a point. You can't say we are better than them. You could say that we are the hottest team right now, but not necessarily the best team in the CWS field

How so?

LSU has won 11 straight, 6 of which were over top 25 teams, with a sweep of #6 Rice and SEC tourney championship included.

ETA: I had to refresh myself on your postseason, and you do have a few quality wins away from home. LSU, on the other hand, has a longer win streak and has been consistent all season.

All the bats are in bracket one. USM is the only team in bracket two that doesn't play small ball.
