you love les like the rest of the "s.e.c. conference" loved shula, zooker, croom. i'd take a poke at nutt, but he seems to outcoach us every year, or we give him a victory through an uncontrollable entity like a game clock. dame you, game clock. if we find a way to take "time out" just to give ourselves a better chance to win. 17 seconds, why must you mock us?!

'Call it a man crush if you like, but Saban is better at every facet of life compared to Less with exception of height; however, Saban cast a larger shadow."

I really don't know how else to say this...I never thought there could ever be a worse poster on TD than Sloflopro, but I'll be danged, you have not done it. You are a completely ignorant moron, douche bag. Les Miles is ( and statistics will prove it) one of LSU's most successful coaches. Only absolute idiots fail to see that. Yes, he made some really bonehead calls last year and his stubborn support of malveto was not productive. But let's be fair. He never lost to UL Monroe!

That is why I love this board. A bunch of idiots repeating the same old tired things over and over about Les miles and one of them tells ME to get new material?
And the double bird thingy. Now that is truly an adult reaction. It's so much fun to be with grown ups.

Well if you don't count loyalty and truth issues, maybe Saban is all you say.

i have never seen saban lose a game because he butt fked the clock. at least lose it on the field and put the game in the players' hands. but dont make it any harder than it already is by being incompetent.

Oh my. That's it? You are pissed at Miles for one clock management error? You don't recall the last second TD against Auburn, or the forth downs against Florida?
You really don't follow LSU football very much do you?

I like Les, always have, like him better then Saban for obvious reasons. Coach Miles gets a very bad rap but I don't think it bothers him at all. I loved what the players had to say about him today, especially Kelvin Shepherd.

Les is a likeable guy and no one has the record that he has without hard work, game planning along with his players being loyal to him.Not every successful leader is an articulate speaker. He just may do better this year than many think. Dooley talks the best game of all so we will just have to wait to see if he can "walk" the "talk". Lighten up and enjoy football 2010.

I remember hearing of a great baseball manager that had public speaking issues. His name was Stengle. Pretty damy good baseball man I think.
And I've said this before. Nobody, but NOBODY in Louisiana should ever criticize the way anyone else speaks.

Yep, after Casey S. left the Yankees and was manager of the Mets [the players errors etc drove him crazy] and he could out perform LM in making great statements.

Yeah, I started this thread giving my honest opinion of Les Miles. I truly believe think he knows what he's talking about. He just has to prove it and you guys should give him the chance to prove it.

Of course, this year is the chance to prove it!

that thing against auburn was luck. pure and simple. it walked a fine line between america's funniest home videos and world's dumbest. it was like watching a stupid decision that was a near accident but no one got hurt, so we can laugh about it. he let the clock run down too far. i know its a "w" in the record book, but that doesnt mean it wasnt stupid mismanagement. he is a kid playing with matches. 07 florida was ballsy. that i will give him . he felt his team could get it done. kudos for that, but auburn was a 3 mile island that was a tip away from chernobyl.

I watch I guess he just has to implement his vision.

OMG hahaha you are just killing me. Les is going to start implementing his VISION now? The last couple of years have been someone else's vision? is that what you are saying. The real LSU as coached by Les MIles is yet to be unveiled?

Thank God, I've been worried that LSU is sinking into mediocrity.
